Hi everyone! Just sharing my progress and giving pre-op people some inspiration. I was sleeved August 22, 2012 starting weight 309, as of today 231. 78 lb loss..... I wanna lose 50 more lbs and see how I feel then. Before and current pics attached. Best of luck everyone!!

Thanks everyone, but I'm still a little thick through the middle and the booty lol. Plus, I'm still at 231 lbs. I appreciate your compliments though :-) I am so thankful to be given the gift of this surgery! -

I am 5 months post-op and no hair loss as of yet. I'm really good with staying on top of my protein and vitamins though. It might happen later for me . -
August Sleeves?!

I was sleeved Aug 22. I lost 23.5 lbs the first 4 weeks, plus 10 lbs pre-op...so 33.5 lbs total. The last couple of weeks the weight loss has slowed. Right now I'm on stage 4 which means all foods except for bread and pasta, with a concentration on protein of course. It says I can have 1000-1200 calories at this stage but I'm keeping it around 900-1000 plus walking. -
I'm 9 days post op and on full liquids and cottage cheese, etc. Sometimes i feel like something gets stuck half way between my lower neck and sternum. Other times its right under my sternum. Its like a squeezing pressure and only lasts a couple seconds, but still annoying. Today it did it when i drank water!?! Will this feeling ever go away?

Other times its right under my xiphoid process. Its like a squeezing pressure and only lasts a couple seconds, but still annoying. Today it did it when i drank water!?! I'm one week post op today, and lost 9lbs this week. However, today seems like a turning point in hunger. I have been starving all day ( tummy growling hunger). I'm feeling concerned about the "feeling full" aspect. When I'm turned loose on regular food, will I really get that "full" satisfied feeling? Right now I feel like the bottomless pit.

I'm 3 days post op and I've tried the Opurity bariatric vitamins. My nutritionist told me to chew 4 a day. There is NO WAY. They make me so sick and they are so big, they are about the size of a meal I can have. Ugh! Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi, I was just released from the hospital today. I got sleeved Wed. afternoon. When does the gas pain go away? My pain settled in my shoulders and it is so painful. Also, why do I feel so hungry? Will the hunger subside?
