Most restaurants at Disney are buffet & don't have appetizers. Just the little "quick bites" places have things like McD, Chick Fil A, etc. Usually it is just a flat price per person, we've done both the dining plan & without. Spent far more without the dining plan than with. :-) Robyn

AMC here has an over 21 theater. It is more ($12.50/ticket), but I think it is worth it for movies I don't want to be interrupted in. I have a 9 year old (she is well behaved only bc I have taught her how to act in public), and I still want to go to the "adult" only section theater. I plan on trying it out for The Hobbit. :-) Robyn

I had an amazing surgery, hospital stay, ect in the US. They took excellent care of me, and I rarely had a lot of pain, as soon as I would ding the nurses they were in there helping me. My hospital suite was cleaned 2 times a day, my sheets changed daily, my husbands sheets changed daily. I passed the cleaning people EVERYtime I walked, day or night. Everyone who visited even said what a beautiful hospital it was. :-) Robyn

I am only almost 2 weeks out & when I was on liquids pre-op & every since I have just noticed the AMOUNT of food people eat. And I find that disgusting. Even my husband, who is very tall at 6 ft 4, and around 300 lbs eats entirely too much. I think he is mourning food since he knows once I can eat/cook "real" food our entire household is changing the way we eat. Not just me! He eats too much bread & sweets. Not much longer & that is changing. He hopes to lose weight along with me. Robyn

I was sleeved 9/4 & it still hurts to lay on my left side. Very much so! I can do it, just not all the way on my left side. I'm sort of leaning back. Haven't tried my stomach though, I don't sleep on it usually. Robyn

I'm doing well! Returned to work part time yesterday. Tired from that. No issues with Water intake or Protein. My back has been hurting very badly by the end of the day though. That is annoying. I had my postop today & my staples removed. I am down 18 lbs since 8/14, now at 195.6. Work pants are pretty ginormous on me, but I am preferring that bc my incision sites are still sore. :-) Robyn

I am saying I am down 18 lbs from my last dr visit. It is the visit before my classes, and before I started the liquid diet. As of today, I am down 18 lbs since 8/14. I was sleeved 9/4. Robyn

I am 31, 5 ft 2, started at 213 BMI of 39. People have STILL (just even today, I was sleeved 9/4), told me I didn't need this surgery. Today, just over 7 days later, I am down to 198! I didn't have any comorbidities, any high blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. But when would I have gotten it? I was headed to death with my weight. Eventually. I just explain to people that I don't want to end up on medication, or not be able to run & play with my 9 year old, or keep up with my super active hubby. My husband, however supportive he is, still says, "you aren THAT big"! He doesn't mean it rude at all, and I know what he is saying. But being short, I feel like an apple. I will finally feel the way I do inside, the person who can do anything. Not sit in a chair & hear/feel it creak. Sit in seats at the Ranger game, and comfortably! No spill over the table at the chiropractor. I did it for me. And for my family. Also, I was adopted & know NOTHING about my family history, other than there was obesity, and heart problems. What has come up in 31 years? There could be a lot of issues now with my birth mother/father & their families that I could have if I am obese. Just my .02¢. :-) Robyn

I'll have to mention this to my dermatologist. I am already on prescription for acne & rosaeca (sp?), but my bariatric dr told me not to take it bc it makes me throw up without food. The Derm was weaning me off of them, but maybe I should stay on them!! Robyn

I've been drinking 40+ oz a day. No issues getting that down. I guess I can try some ice. Robyn

I had surgery 9/4, and starting 9/6 I've had diarrhea (sorry tmi!!) daily. liquid in, liquid out! :-) Robyn

I had to go to my obgyn today & weighed while there. I was expecting a gain due to anesthesia etc, but I'm down 14 lbs since starting my liquid diet 8/21!!! I started at 213, at hospital I was just over 208, now 199!!! happy dance!!! Robyn
