If it were me personally I would get the bypass It is as they say still the "gold standard" surgery. Do as much research as you can. My mother had bypass last week and I am having sleeve next week. But if my ins. would not pay I would not have a problem having the bypass. I would be thankful that they pay for the bypass. Thats just me. Good luck, hope it all works out for you. -

I noticed that too, my understanding with bypass patients the dumping had to do with insulin http://voices.yahoo.com/dumping-syndrome-cause-low-blood-sugar-gastric-10901035.html I don't see how you can have true dumping syndrome with the sleeve. -
Surgery In 6 Days

My surgery is next Tuesday and I can't wait. I had a lap band but had it removed 2 months ago. Been just waiting. Now that I am on pre-surgical diet I really can't wait for next tuesday. I sure had fun eating in between having band removed and getting my sleeve. Gained 25 pounds in no time flat. Now back to reality. -

5 days out, what are you eating ??? Cannot imagine any Doctor letting anyone eat any food 5 days out ??? You have a lot of healing to do. You can't regret your surgery already you have no idea how you are going to feel 6 months from now. Remember you cannot rush anything. Be patient and stick to the correct diet for your 5 days out.

When I had the band I took extended release pills. -
I took the urine test. I never heard of blowing into a machine.
