Hey all! I was sleeved on 09/06/12, and I'm down 47 pounds. I'm in another stall, but I'm holding steady at 199!

Had surgery on Sept 6th, day of surgery was 245, and I'm five weeks out and down to 218. Still in a stall, haven't lost much this past month. So frustrating. Just wondering where everyone else was at with their weight loss, lack there of. Anyone being in stalls, what did u do to break out of the stall?

Just wondering about everyone's progress? My surgery date was 09/06/12, I've lost 35 pounds, all post surgery. My weight loss is going slooooooow, but I'll take the 35 pounds! Please post your progress!

I hadn't thought about this...but you may have a good point! I've had my iud for almost 4 years...and my weight loss has been slow...(about 34 pounds in 2 months). I recently got my period, after going almost 4 years without one! I have no idea what's going on. Maybe my slow weight loss is connected to my mirena.

My surgery was on September 6th, weighing in at 245. Almost 9 weeks out, and I'm weighting in at 211.4. So... I'm at about 34 pounds lost in two months. I've had stalls, sickness, again and again... Just wondering how my fellow September sleevers were doing with their weight loss? Am I where I should be, I think?

LizInTexas, thanks for the post! Sounds like we're much the same. My energy levels are in the pits! I'm already taking a crap load of Vitamins each day...so maybe it'll get better soon!

Yeah, I'm going to start exercising this week too, hopefully it'll be the kickstart my body needs! Glad were about the same. We need to stay close so we can share our progress!

I had surgery on September 6th by Dr. Weiss in Ky. I'm about 6 weeks out and down about 28 pounds (from day of surgery). I've been stalled at least twice... So frustrating! Ugh... Just wondering what everyone else is eating this far out? I can pretty much handle anything, just very small portions. I'm getting in about 800 calories a day...but still in a stall! Hopefully my body will adjust soon, and I'll be on the losing track again! Just wondering how everyone else was doing?

but apparently it's not enough! I'm five weeks out, and 26 pounds down. And now I think I'm in another stall (yet again)... Geesh! All I know is that the scales aren't going up, they're going backwards, so I'm thankful for that. Anyone else having the same issues?

the doc told me today that I should be at 40 pounds lost! What gives?!?! My stats are: 5.4 (height), weigh 223.8, I'm 30yo,female. In the past 4 weeks (exactly 4 weeks from surgery), I've lost 22pounds. But at my checkup today,the doctor said that I should be at 44pounds lost already. I am eating like 600 calories a day, nothing more. I'm not getting in my Water as I need to be, and my Protein isn't where it needs to be either. Im getting my riding bike out and I'm going to ex erode some that way, I just don't get mow I can eat 600 calories a day, and o ly lose 22pounds!!!!!!!! Any advice please.

Thanks guys! I will note that the doctor I seen at the checkup was not the one who done my surgery... It was very discouraging to say the least! I stalled at 3 weeks, and didn't lose a single pound, but that's pretty common I think. People say the slower the better, which is true if I don't want the loose skin. It's just aggravating when I'm eating so little, thinking I'm doing well....but then have the doctor tell me that I should have lost double of what I did! I will add though that this surgery is the best decision I've made, the best thing I've ever done for myself. As a mom to two kiddos, I never put myself first. Now instead of being obsessed with food, I focus even more on my babies! It's amazing how one thing can change your life!

I've lost about 16 pounds since surgery, and I'm two weeks out today. I stalled for a few days, probably bc I'm struggling to get in all my water and protein...but it'll get better. I'm amazed at how I'm feeling full after just a few bites of food! Amazing!

I was sleeved on 09/06/12, and my surgeon used the robot. I had no physical pain (other than the gas!), and I went back to work in 7 days. Quick recovery!

Hi all! I'm from central Kentucky, and was sleeved at Central Baptist by Dr. Weiss on Sept. 6th. Almost a week out, things are great! He's a wonderful doctor!

Surgery was done on September 6th. I stayed two nights in the hospital (due to being so nauseous). I'm finally back home. Only thing that is bothering me is the massive amount of GAS in my belly! Ugh, wish it would go away already! Other than the gas, I don't have any complaints! Surgery went well, and I feel fine today. Anyone have any tips on getting rid of the gas!

I've been sleeved for 2 days, and everything is fine, except the gas! Any ideas on how to get rid of it? It's so painful!

The gas comes out which ever way it chooses! Lol. I would welcome it to come out in any way, just not stay in my belly! Good luck to you all!

Good luck to you! Honestly, nothing is hurting (except the gas), but this is normal with any surgery... I'm so impressed with how well things went. Hope it stays this way! I took my puppy for a walk earlier, and it does feel better somewhat. Hope we can keep in touch. Things will be fine!
