    vomiting?

Has anyone had a problem with nausea and vomiting after feel so good for a while? I'm about 3 1/2 months out and had a lot of problem with nausea and vomitjng early on and have been feeling good for a little over a month now and for whatever reason the last couple of days I have been vomiting but not after every time I eat. I am hoping that this can happen and will pass.

It's a very exciting feeling! I was sleeved 9/19 and starting weight was 262 and my goal was to be under 200 by Christmas and reached that goal 2 days before and it was the best feeling in the world! I can't wait for you to get there

What to eat after 2 1/2 months post op

I was suprised what all I can eat 2 1/2 months out considering how sick I was early on. I have my staples which are chicken tenders (plain with no breadding or anything) grilled or baked, tilapia, shrimp (which seems to be the easiest thing on my sleeve), beef tenderloin, broccoli, brussel sprouts, eddemame, greek yogurts, cheese and almonds. My typical day is... Breakfast Danon light and fit greek yogurt Snack 100 calorie pack of emerald almonds lunch 2 oz fish shrimp or chicken A couple pieces of a veggies like broccoli brussel sprouts or yellow squash Snack String cheese dinner 2 oz of a meat And a couple pieces of a veggie I have tried salads but its hit or miss for me. Sometimes it agrees with my sleeve others days it makes me sick ugh I know each person is different...my advise is to slowly introduce new foods and if it doesn't agree with you try again later in a week or so.

    what a victory!

I'm sure you ladies know where I'm coming from when I say it was a big chore to groom down there. I hated doing it but had to bc I prefered it that was and I'm sure my hubby did as well. Well I am 3 months out from surgery and I haven't groomed down there since then until yesterday and lemme tell you its sooooo much easier now! I can actually see what it looks like now:-) its definitely a great feeling to be able to do it and not feel like a contortionist!

  9. I will be 3 months post op on Wednesday and have officially lost 60lbs. I know it's not as much as some others have lost but I'm ecstatic. I try not to worry about what others have lost but it's hard sometimes but I try to think of it this way...I'm only 3lbs from being in onederland:-) the last time I was in the 100's I was in high school. Just thought I would share my happiness with everyone:-)

    Nsv:)

I have been with my husband for almost 15 years and for most of that time my husband has never been able to pick me up without looking like he was about to die! Well today after we got home from work out of the blue he picked me up:). AND he didn't act like he was break in half. The little things that come from having the sleeve are really making me so happy I got the sleeve:). Just thought I would share

    Weight Gain For Tom

I know this might be a stupid question but I never paid attention to it when I was heavier but is it normal to gain 3+ lbs during that time of the month? I got on my scale this morning and I was shocked to see the gain and I've been doing everything right.
  16. I am almost 2 1/2 months out and still eat a very small amount of food. I have seen others that in personally know who were able to eat a lot more. I eat about 5-6x a day. To give you an example for breakfast I can eat 1/2 Greek yogurt and then I'm full.
  17. I know I posted earlier today how great I was feeling maybe I jumped the gun. Has anyone experienced nausea out of the blue with vomiting almost immediately after? Twice today it happened after taking some vitamin supplements. First time it was after I took my multi vitamin and my calcium and the second time it was after I took a multi vitamin and my actigal for my galbladder. I have been fine with food.

    Out Of The Blue Nausea

Yeah that is what I was afraid of. I've been sleeved for 2 month and have never had a problem. I'm going to try to change the vitamin and see what happens

    Thanksgiving Freak Out

I am also at 8 week's post op. 8 weeks actually as of yesterday. What we are doing for thanksgiving this year is turkey and healthy veggies that way there is nothing available that is not good for me. My hubby is being extremely supportive of me and has not made a fuss.about not being able to have the normal thanksgiving dinner. I have also heard of other.people saying their families are making adjustments to how they make certain things to make it healthier.

    Wait Time For Intimacy

My Dr said 2 weeks but I cheated;-) but only by a couple of days lol
  25. How often should you be having a bowel movement at almost 2 months out? The reason I ask is because since surgery I have a bowel movement maybe once every 2 weeks and this last time its longer than 2 weeks. I pass gas so I know something is moving around in there. I take MOM and it does not seem to help. I rarely got constipated prior to surgery and when I did I was very uncomfortable and I don't get that same feeling now. IF I am lucky i get about 2oz of protein in me at each sitting and can not stomach any veggies to get any fiber in so my diet consist of pure protein. I tried to search the topic but found a lot of post about a week or so post op so I apologize if this is a repeat of another thread...Is this common?? or am I the only one and need to start worrying and call the doctor?
