Weigh yourself daily and if you need to add calories to maintain weight towards the end add extra protein shakes or healthy calories so you don't slip into bad habits. Add calories in that are things like you will be eating after surgery. You can do this!

I have a 9,7, and two year old I had a few small complications so I was back in the hospital for a week I can't do everything like carry my toddler or give baths but, I have a mil who has been helping and a hubby who has been great. If you have a toddler that you need to transport your gonna need help.

My hubby getting sleeved in November. Anyone have both sleeved? Does it make it easier.

Yes I already know all about that ... My pre op diet 10lbs his so far 20 ... He will probably have 40 off before the sleeve and be at 70 the first month. He has more to lose than me though.

I got sleeved 2 weeks ago he gets his in November.

I'm a lot better and currently in my gown and slippers with my hair in a towel while my kids destroy my house. Lol

I had a complication I ended up with pnemonia and a blood clot. I chose the sleeve because, it offered the most benefits and least amount of complications. I got unlucky but, would do it again in a minute I am 27 lbs down and I haven't had a lot of gas pain. I am struggling with protein and getting liquids in but, I am working on it and have not been hungry once. I fill up quickly and am hopeful this is going to be the tool to finally help me lose this weight.

So glad your doing better!!! I have been worried and missing you on here. Sorry about your anesthesia scare thankful you made it out ok. It does get better liquid is a little easier I am still unable to do the shakes hope that is easier for you. Congrats you will do great!!!

Some people struggle that's what this sight is for support. Amazon you are always posting negative comments! I would love to know why your on here? If its just for information read and be silent! If you want to be helpful a word in the dictionary you may want to reference is tact! I think you must enjoy tearing others down. I for one again state the obvious if you have it all figured out and never struggled with self control or food issues before why did YOU need the surgery. We all know this isn't weight watchers this is a surgery you can potentially die from so being committed and following surgeons orders is important but, if someone messes up don't kick them while their down your a bully and as a big person I have had my fill of bullies! Guess you were never bullied or laughed at or felt less than because of your weight since you have it all together??? Well me, I am on here for three reasons to learn, to get support, and give support. Why are you on here?

I think that was a jerky thing to say amazon! Obviously you never struggled with food??? If your so perfect why did you need the surgery. We all have messed up and this is a sight for support and information if your just gonna cut people down I would look for another place to hang out.

I had some complications pnemonia and a blood clot in my arm I am 11 days out and have been in the hospital a few times. Having said that I can say with 3 kids the hospitalization was hard but, the complications from surgery are nothing to the complications I will have in the future by staying heavy. I am so excited to think of all the things in 6 months when I've lost all this weight I am going to be able to do with them. It's worth it. Most people have small or no complications. Research YOUR surgeons complication rates and make that decision.

I messed up during my diet we didn't get to this point from having great self control... I was terrified that they would cancel my surgery or it would be open. I got lucky try your best and when you mess up start over and try again!!!

Oh no! Prayers for you! Codeine should be fine but, watch out for constipation. Make sure they call your surgeon so they can properly treat you.

I am out of hospital for the second time. I am doing ok I am coming off pnemonia and am being treated for a blood clot in my arm. Trying to get fluid in. Thanks for all the prayers.

Tried again and can't do the shakes I barely get my liquid in what am I gonna do? I see the dr. Next week scared of dehydration but, more afraid of losing my hair.

What brand are they?

My issue is I don't feel like I'm getting this right. I am almost two weeks out and i dont think ive hit my liquid goal once.I need to drink drink drink.

Just attempted to drink protein shake and got so. Sick I was terrified of vomiting. I can't finds zofran and still 10 days from having a BM if I can't get any protein in im gonna never lose. Tonight sucks!!!

I did just get out due to pnemonia and blood clot... Now its been 10 days and the protein is going to be put on back burner. I feel like junk I am going to go to Walgreens tomorrow to buy stuff to fix problem and I emailed surgeon begging for zofran rx to replace my missing one.

Can't wait to See all your success photos! I have one thing I'm super excited to post a skirt I used to squeeze in now fits with room to spare. Planning on getting my excercise in as soon as they release me. You are all amazing and in my prayers for a abundance of success beyond anything you imagined.
