I'm getting a little worried.. I am on a 14 day liquid diet.. Surgery is monday(24).. I havent gone overboard by any means, but I haven't been perfect.. Between cooking for my family, feeding my toddlers, seeing food on tv every second, oh, and btw, I serve delicious food, and have to watch people eat it every day at work!!!! I'm dying here!!! I had a few bites of food during my 11 days here and there.. I am down 10 pounds.. but I haven't been perfect!! I'm starting to be concerned about my liver.. Any thoughts??? Thanks!!!

Rachel!!!! Oh my I missed your post!!! I responded to a post a week or so ago, and it must get 20 hits a day!!! Ok, with that being said.. I'm so glad you are getting stronger!!! That is do encouraging!!!! Awesome job with your weight loss!!! Hope you are able to post again soon! I'd love to know how you are doing!!! So, I'm just 3 days from surgery.. I am getting freaked out!!!! I haven't been perfect with my liquid diet!! How do they really expect people who can't control their eating.. And we know we will never eat this way again.. Say.. Ummmmm no food for you!!!! For 14 days!!! I haven't gone crazy by any means.. A bite here a bite there.. So very difficult... I am down 12.5 as of this morning.. I know you said you had a hard time.. How bad did you cheat, and your liver was ok right?? Can't wait to hear from you!!! Jakat... Three data to go!!!! How are you doing on liquids??? I'm Stephanie BTW.. What time do you have to be there Monday?? Hope everyone is doing well!!!

Thank you you all so much for your advice and words of encouragement ... I'm not surprised many people have bad days/moments.. Most of my cheats have been chicken, nuts, cheese, steak.. Just a bite or two.. No carbs, no sugar.. As if this morning I am down 12.5 pounds.. Three days away.. It is so hard, but these last couple days.. No cheats at all and won't sat&sun .. It's a lot easier when you are a few days from surgery as opposed to 14 days away.. Thanks again everyone!! I appreciate you all making me a little less worried about my liver..

Jakat.. Are you going to Dr. Curry as well?? My surgery is on the 24th.. How is your liquid diet going??? Funsize.. I did mostly drinks.. Fruity ones.. eggs were nasty, hot chocolate was surprisingly good.. In the past I did a liquid diet.. So I stuck with mostly fruity drinks.. The crunchy variety pack of bars are ok as well.. Oh I am so happy for you!!! This is the NSV that is high on my list.. Most of the time I can't buckle the seatbelt.. I fly almost every week!! Can't wait to be on the losers bench!! 13 days to go!!!

Rachel... I have been thinking about you!!!!! Your big day tomorrow!!! How are you feeling!!! I will be thinking and praying for you.. You will do great!! I am headed to London tomorrow, so I hope when I land I will hear about how you are doing.. I forgot to ask what time your surgery is scheduled.. Don't worry about "cheating" on your liquids. I'll venture to guess that many do.. From what I've read on here.. Some drs don't even require one.. I wish you all the best!!! Let me know how you are doing when you feel up to it ))) Your right.. The scope was a breeze.. I had a slight sore throat for a few hours.. No biggie!!! Thanks for making me feel at ease )... Liquids start for me tomorrow!!!!!! Ugghhhhhh!!! Not looking forward to it.. Hey Rachel.. Sorry to hear you are having a hard time.. I start mine on Sunday.. I did one of those physician monitored liquids before.. It didn't last long and neither did I. I am not looking forward to it. I'll probably doing just drinks as well.. When your not eating food.. Dryer soup just isnt a great alternative ) .. I can't believe your date is getting near.. I am starting to get cold feet.. But I know it's something I need to do.. I'm not worried about the diet after.. Or the pain for that matter.. I think I'm more worried about complications.. I haven't asked Dr. Curry about his personal complication rate with this surgery.. I know he's one of the best, but many times it's not the doc, but your body.. Just kinda freaking a little.. My scope is thurs.. I know you said it was a piece of cake.. But nerves are getting me .. Fill me in on how you are doing.. The 10th will be here soon.. How do I join the local/Ohio group.. Hey Rachel.. Glad you have had a great experience so far.. I am scheduled for my edg on the 6th.. I am a little nervous.. Are you in a twilght state or are you completely under?? Did you have an iv?? My surgery was then sceduled for the 24th.. So excited but very nervous.. Are you having your sleeve at journey lite?? Im guessi g youll be on liquids soon... Ughhhh!!! Hope we can keep in touch.. Hi Everyone, I am going to Dr. Curry as well. I live in northern ky.. I am glad to hear keldolbeth you had a good experience.. Thanks for your posts.. I was approved on Friday, and was hoping I would hear from the scheduler by now.. Getting anxious.. Zebrasprinkles.. Did you have to wait till after your edg to schedule your actual procedure?? Two of my all time humiliating moments.. When I couldn't fit on a roller coaster.. I just acted like I changed my mind... It was so embarassing.. And second was when I was on a cruise.. We were at a comedy show with stand ups.. I got up to go to the restroom during the show.. And the comedian said as part of his act.... Lady.. You can get food 24 hours a day.. She's headed back to the buffet!!! I was mortified!!!!

My heart breaks with all of these stories.. We all have a common bond.. I have many stories myself of people just being just outright mean.. But within the last several years.. I deal with it on a regular basis.. I am 5'2" 268 pounds.. And I am a flight attendant.. Each and every flight.. I am eyed up by passengers and my fellow coworkers.. In our lounge, I get the once over many times.. On the aircraft, I am treated poorly by passengers, given looks, and many people go overboard when moving their elbows out of the asile when they see me coming.. So very embarassing.. I do many European flights.. And it's even worse.. Obesity is not as big as an issue as it is here in the US.. They comments I hear from people .. Uggh it just makes me want to hide in my home.. I am waiting for the scheduler to call.. Hopefully I will have my sleeve next month.. Thinking of you all.. Oh, btw.. When people ask me for the extension.. I am as discrete as I can be

Oops.. Meant commute by air 3-4 times a month..

I have been the one that had to get off off of a ride because I didn't fit.. Just awful.. I also commute by air to work 3-4 times a week.. Often I struggle to bucke the seatbelt .. If I get it at all.. And not to mention the looks I get from my seat mates.. Oh I could go on!!! Just waiting to hear from the scheduler.. Can't wait!!
