I'd enjoy a private/closed forum or Facebook group for vets. I'll be a year out this summer and I'm almost at goal.

Boot Camp anyone?
Carrie's Journey replied to stomlin75's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I did the boot camp last week but I did it wrong. Lol I had nonfat greek yogurt that was sweetened with fruit and I mixed cottage cheese with sugar free jam. So I didn't eliminate all carbs but it still helped a lot with my cravings. I was out of control with the carbs. Is anyone planning to eat yogurt? Are you mixing it with anything? I don't think I could ever eat it plain... I'll try to get back on it tomorrow...I had damn cheeze-its tonight! -
Last night I made a California roll - just seaweed, imitation crab, avocado and cucumber. Rolled it up and dipped in low sodium soy sauce. Didn't even miss the rice.

I love the vanilla and raspberry. I add it to my protein hot cocoa (along with some instant coffee) almost every morning. Yum

Stunning. Are you planning on getting plastics? Your new photo doesn't look like you'd need it, but just curious. What a difference. -

I've tried searching and can't find anything... I know our cycles get a little messed up after surgery, but I had a period the first 3 months after surgery and haven't had one since. I'm almost 7 months out so I haven't had one for at least 3 cycles. I was low bmi to start and have lost 50 lbs. I've been on the pill and am not pregnant. Anyone go through this? When did your period come back?

Probably anal fissures...google it. Little tears. Take a stool softener if you can and use Tucks pads, maybe a sitz bath. I've been there! -

It's looking great!! Out of the 3 procedures, was the tummy the most painful? I could use a TT and a breast lift but I'm leaning toward a lift first... -

I had one right before surgery. It was like 2 minutes and everything was fine. -
I know this comes up a lot, but I can't find what I'm looking for. I'm planning to start the boot camp tomorrow to kick my carb cravings. She says you can have all Protein (meat, fish, nuts, dairy, etc), lots of Water, green veggies, no fruit... Do you think that includes nonfat Greek yogurt that's fruit-flavored? It doesn't specify a carb max, which is why I ask. The yogurt I have has about 20 g carb. Anyone done this the whole 5 days successfully?
