Ask your doctor -- I was allowed coffee a week after surgery, but had to wait over 4 months for salad. -

4 Week Liquid Pre Op Diet

I had a three week liquid diet... the first few days are the worst, but once you pass like day 3 you'll feel much better. The pre-op diet is to shrink your liver for a safer surgery and hopefully give you a head start on your weight loss! Good Luck! You can do this! -

Proud Grammy, I'm sorry you had such a crappy experience, it's amazing to me that so many people in the medical world can be so negative and so uninformed. I recently went thru the same thing at my OB/Gyn's office -- the nurse practitioner noticed I had lost a lot of weight since my last visit -- I said I had WLS, to which she replied "Oh don't people gain all the weight back!" I was livid, shocked and sad. PS. I changed OB/GYN's!! -

I really didn't have much pain at all. I had some discomfort when sleeping, other than that it was a pretty easy recovery! Good Luck! -

Nope mine was fixed during the sleeve surgery. -
I was sleeved 10/10/12 and I started buying 12's in May 2013-- I am now closer to a 10 Yippee!!!
