Thank you. I'm actually not on any medications..... They tasted gross so I told me doctor no.... LoL.... I could understand being "backed up" due to the meds, but I'm not on them :/

Beverly hills physicians!!!!! I love my surgeons!!!! I've been to them to weightloss, breast reduction and another weightloss (band slipped so switched to sleeve) and I plan to go back to them for my tummy tuck and skin tightening on my arms and legs -
First of all, great job!!!!! Secondly, that's what we're here for we are here to support you 73 lbs in 6 months is amazing!!!! And, FYI, some people (like one of my brothers for example) tells me he won't congratulate me on my weightloss because "why should I congratulate you on finally getting healthy.... That's like me saying "hey, welcome to the rest of the world" but then again, tough skin in our family..... LoL

If I can't eat fat foods, I will cook them and make my husband eat them hehehe!!!! just made hubby a bedtime snack..... Low carb tortilla with raspberry jam, chocolate pudding and bananas.... Sautéed with butter over the stove..... Then made some Abuelitas hot coco.... I couldn't resist! If we can't be thin together, we will meet halfway haha! but seriously.... After all we've been thru this week, he deserves every fattening calorie of that delicious smelling snack.... Plus, I felt like I had to do something... All this "resting" and "healing" in our studio apartment is giving me a headache!!!!!

My insurance said the same thing..My surgeon charged my insurance 2x's what the surgery costs lol... I love my surgeon.... It's a private facility AND not technically coved by my insurance so they can basically charge whatever they want No out of pocket costs for me! Good luck!!!

The new whey liquid protein shots? I tried blue raspberry, watermelon, fruit punch and grape.... I think I spent about $14 total.... I liked them but I also like getting in all of my protein without having to suck down a protein shake lol -
Im going to be eating baby food....I'll be back at work and I think it will be easier on my work days!

to me, dipping is the equivalent of eating an entire chocolate cake..... It's delicious when youre stressed but bad for you in the long run.... just ask yourself, WHY did you get the sleeve? To be healthier, right? Then why do something like dip if it means you aren't going to be healthy?

you're probably getting your 1200 calories in! During the first month, it's hard to get so many calories, which is why we all drop weight like crazy lol keep at it.... Remember, this isn't a diet that we can quit.... It's a lifestyle change! good luck and keep us updated! Just take it one day at a time <3 -

hey all!!! Day 3 post op.... FeelI better than yesterday.... Still haven't taken any of my pain meds... Woohoo go me I got 2oz of tomato chicken broth down.... Still working on the other 2oz while I'm watching Hell's Kitchen! Some of these people on this show are....very interesting hahaha!!!!! I've almosted finished my 20oz bottle of powerade zero.....starting on my 16oz of water.... I still can't seem to stay awake all day, which is screwing up my night sleep schedule.... I called my doctors office to set up my one week appointment for Tuesday..... I'm not going to lie.... I used to hate stepping on the scale..... Now, every time I go pee (TMI) I step on the scale! I love seeing my weight fall off!!!!! 241 before surgery 223 today!!!

We aren't supposed to use straws so close out of surgery.... I would stop.... My surgeon also gave me those cups but if you have like a 1/2 cup measuring cup, I would use that instead

hi everyone, To those who wished me well, thank you. Im officially 2 days post-op... I'm able to keep more liquids down but omg my pain!!! It's not "give me the meds" pain it's more "I wish iwas farther out from surgery so I could breathe normally" pain.... I just feel like the anesthesia is still in my lungs... Trying to breathe it out but ugh! Not working.... Any suggestions? also, I can't seem to stay awake.... Is this normal? I know my body is trying to heal, but this isn't my first surgery! It's actually my 5th and I'm soooo not used to this sleepy feeling :/

Today's the day! Surgery in 4 hours!!! I decided to continue my journey with the sleeve.... Insurance is still giving me an issue but my doctor says don't worry about it! I love y surgeon! wish me luck, say your prayers

hey everyone..... first off, thanks for reading this.... my husband is questioning my ability to follow the new lifestyle and it has me questioning my abilities as well... i was all set for surgery (supposed to be tomorrow!!!) and now hes asking me if i really want to do this and what if i fail.... i could cause damage, or die, etc etc... im questioning myself.... is this really a good choice? what happens if i mess up? what if i eat something in 3 years and pop open my stomach? theres no going back.... he says i only have 60lbs to lose.... and he thinks i can do it on my own... i know i can lose it on my own.... but what happens when i start eating again and gain back 3x's the amount??? i dont want to die from obesity.... im tired of being the "fat" girl.... im tired of it.... my husband says i should stick with the lapband and just get it fixed instead of cutting off my stomach..... help??? what do i do? i just dont know right now!!! :'(
