It shouldn't be a problem..... Just make sure you don't cheat when you're on liquids....it would suck to go under the knife and have your surgeon say your lungs are too big to operate..... And then have to start all over..... But, still, you're doctor does need to know

I was told at 18 that I wouldn't be able to conceive..... Change doctors 3 times.... 3 1/2 years later at 21 years old, I found a doctor who told me I had pcos and it's possible to get pregnant, but it's going to a long road.... At 22, I decided to have the lapband.... The lapband failed me this year when it slipped........ At 24, I finally had the sleeve gastrectomy performed (5 days ago!!!) in 2 weeks, I'm already down 21lbs... I have yet to visit my NEW ob/gyn since my awesome one quit her job due to difficult pregnancy......which to me was ironic, considering she was the QUEEN doctor of difficult pregnancies...... I cant wait to get pregnant.... My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant (before this surgery) for FOREVER.... I'm really hoping it happens as soon as my vsg doctor gives me the clear to try.... I can't wait to be a mommy!!!

I'm always burping! 5 days post op... I think the gases from surgery are still in me... Im practicing my breathing exercises that people on here suggested but still burping lol Try gas-x.... It really does help

Doesn't sound weird to me at al!!! Im 4 days post op and would kill for a coke, cheeseburger and fried zucchini!!!! but you will get thru it.... Just like we all will.... Would you rather drink that coke, and eat that cheeseburger and die from a blocked artery in your heart?.....OR live a long life and watch your kids have kids who possible have kids?

hahahah that's awesome.... I asked my husband what he wanted to do....I love Halloween, he doesn't.... His response was "recreate our first date.... dinner and a movie and pretend like Halloween doesn't exist.... he's not fun lol....

I had my surgery on the 21st.... I've been to the grocery store twice.... The hardest part and definately most painful is laughing :/

talk to the athletic director at your school.... Usually they are kids running the gates.... What are they gonna do? LoL

My band slipped.... I was tired of going in for adjustments.... I didn't want the slip to happen again.... And I needed to make a lifetime decision to lose weight, and keep it off..... And I'm only 4 days post op and happy I did it

How long is your pre op diet.....?

I did bowel prep with magnesium citrate.....10ml bottle split in 2, the day before surgery.....5ml at 4pm, 5ml at 8pm and an enema flush before bedtime.... Good luck with surgery <3

protein shakes and crystal lite!!! They were my saviers before surgery!

Girl, your family is like mine.... Just keep losing.... When you are as thin as them, you get to say things like "oh my gosh, you look as fat as I used to in that" haha those are amazingly fun things

I had the band removed and sleeve done last Tuesday... I am SOOOOOOO happy

I think it's ok. Alot of people drink coffee..... Just remember, it's empty calories but some days, we NEED tho empties

Either water weight like everyone else said or maybe muscle gain?

If they deny your claim, you can always appeal their decision and tell them what you have tried (weight watchers, Jenny Craig, curves, etc.) Good luck

I had the band and I'm really glad I converted to the sleeve... I've only taken one week off for both surgeries each time.... I would suggest 2 tho.... I work in a high stress job as well and I know it's going to be tough going back when I'm still on liquids

Hey everyone.... I'm 3 days post op.... And today i know I have to go #2 but I can't push it out.... And now, my body feels like gas is backed up.... What should I do? I'm lookin for immediate relief here the gas pains are killer
