I had a bad dream about meatballs. They were 5-6 of us making meatballs and my job was to shred the cheeses for everyone. Everyone grabbed the cheese for their meatball and left me none for my meatballs. I got so upset threw everything down and stormed off!!!! Than I woke up. Funny thing is I am Italian and do not like meatballs. Has anyone had weird food dreams?

Went to the doctors today and I am down 25 pounds since surgery day!!!!! I ended up developing blood clots in the lungs so I had an 3 day stay in the hospital. I am going for testing to make sure there are no more blood clots next week....Praying they are all gone!!! But this surgery was the BEST decision I EVERY made!!! Puree food till November.....

Tried Refried Beans With Melted Cheese

I am 15 days post op and by day 5 I could not stand the smell of muscle milk or broth....my gag reflex would act up. I tried the shakes I was doing pre op and could not hold those down either...I tried MANY brands. I called the NUT and told her what was going on...I even tried greek yogurt and that came up too. I decided to try puree foods and that seemed to settle down and stay down. NUT told me it was ok as long as I did no veggies or fruit. I had my first post op and she told me it was fine to stay on phase 3 and even suggested a few alternatives. -

HI....I am doing good.....just having lots of difficulty drinking the shakes its making me sick to my stomach just from the smell....so I went into puree foods instead which I am holding ALOT better. How about you...I am going in Wednesday to see Szomestein for the 2 week follow up. When did you get out of the hospital? I wanted to call you but my Mother In Law came down to help so I have been busy with her. -
Icing on cake......my poor Aunt Nina lost her battle with cancer on Tuesday. Of course my cousin did not want me to know due to the surgery I was having!!! Now I can't even go to the funeral cause it is today and I am still in the hospital and than they are transporting the body to Ohio to be buried next to my Uncle. This totally stinks!!!!!!!

Well I finally was sleeved on September 4 2012. At first I thought surgery was a success with no complication. Wellll needless to say I am still hospitalized. I did developed blood clots in my lungs and now going through all that. Hardest part is my daughter cries at night for me and I cry for her. But I have actually exercised for the first time in a long time by walking the hallways while waiting to heal. I am officially off pain meds now for 2 days. AND they are also considering lowering my diabetic meds already. In all honesty the surgery is not bad at all. It is the aftermath to beware of. Hopefully I will be going home tomorrow and they did delivery my oxygen for home use for the time being. Hopefully it will be for a short time. Please keep me in your prayers that I do get to go home. 2 extra days stinks being in the hospital!!!!

On my way to the hospital to be sleeved this am at 7:30....Please say a little prayer for me!!!

In 26 hours I will be sleeved. Having second thoughts?? My mind is playing tricks on me telling me that I really do not need this surgery!! I know I do need it and still am going through it....was wondering did anyone go through this....is it normal? I am looking forward to the weight loss and able to run around and play with my 5 year old....Today she asked me if this surgery will help me take her to the park and play with her...I just cried realizing I am missing part of her life because of the ball and chain I have on my body.... I want to be healthy and be off MOST of my meds.....tired of giving myself insulin and taking so many pills...I feel like my parents where they take a pill for every ailment they have...I refuse to be like them..... I want to walk into a normal store and buy ANYTHING off the hanger without wondering how long can I fit into these clothes before I have to buy new ones cause I out grew them,,,,,, I am tired of being tired and out of breathe everytime I do something or too much pain cause of the pain in my legs and back due to the weight gain...looking forward to being able to take control of my own home and clean it the way I love to clean.... YES THE SLEEVE IS FOR ME!!!! I am playing mind games with my brain telling thenm that I need to do this because of all the positive in my life....TIME TO GET RID OF THE NEGATIVE!!!!!!!!!!!

I would still go...it's better than GOD fobid something happening to you with your 5 year looking on!!! When I was having my heart attacks I had my 3 year old at that time in the car with me driving around town buying clothes for our NY trip....I could of killed her, myself, and other innocent pple. Make it an adventure for your 5 year old. Do you have anyone who can watch him?

You might have over done it...BUT to be on the safe side get yourself to hospital...3 years ago I thought I was having bad heart burn for 3 days and I was having heart attacks!!!
