hey there - haven't been around in a while just wanted to update everyone, I'm 70 lbs down in 4 months and doing great. For those interested I've kept a (rather relaxed) video blog, located here -> happy to answer any questions! Brian

I have heard this before, but without exception all that I've shared this process with have been supportive. Just my two cents here but anyone who isn't supportive, may not be a very good friend for you during this change. When/If I find someone with that attitude, I'll note their attitude and move on (to better friends).

New Sleever :) Introduction To Me..
BArnett VSG replied to Christhee VSG's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I was sleeved on July 16th and I found that first week, with recovery and the clear liquid diet to be (by FAR) the hardest part, so hang in there's it's about to get easier. I used Isopure as well and kind of had to force it down, but it's good Protein source. Once you get to the shakes, it's easier. hang in there! -

40 Hours Before Surgery And Starting To Get Cold Feet! Help!
BArnett VSG replied to TiredOfChubRub's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
yeah, let me echo VST Addict, the surgery was not as big a deal as I feared. I had mine on July 16th and was home after two nights, recovery, pain and getting used to the sleeve all easier than I imagined. You can do it, I've lost 35 lbs since my preop diet and back to work and feeling good. I've been videoing my experience - I find these helpful and watched many before my surgery. B
