Who isn't obese this morning?

It just happened for me this morning too! Congratulations! -
Has anyone lost the weight after VSG without exercise?
cherrybombknits replied to Jenny12's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
At this early stage I don't think the exercise is impacting my weight loss, but we're in this for the long term, right? Exercise improves calorie burn and metabolism (because it takes more calories to feed muscles than fat), so if you are able to it is recommended. Even on weeks when the scale doesn't move much my measurements (waist, hips, arms) still show that my working out is improving my body. -

Finally Stopped Lying to the DMV

I realized the other day that this is maybe the first time in my life I weigh LESS than it says on my driver's license. Who's with me? -
Finally - protein I can tolerate!
cherrybombknits replied to Strangefruit's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
Muscle Milk has made me feel the sickest of anything post-surgery. Except maybe the tandoori chicken. -
Nectar Protein Help?
cherrybombknits replied to Beckyyb93's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
I've been making mine with ice and and an immersion blender. -
Best Powder To Mix With Water?
cherrybombknits replied to Beckyyb93's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
That's a shame, fuzzy navel has become my favorite. Don't judge any of the powders by the RTD's, they are NOTHING alike. -

A half cup of regular coffee will make me dizzy and light-headed the rest of the day.

That sounds like fun! Maybe I'll go sandshoeing.

My husband and I have lost over 100 lbs collectively, and I can confirm that, uhm, new depths have been reached *blush*.

Sweet tooth 3 and 1/2 months out
cherrybombknits replied to k-jones41's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I call the carb cravings "riding the sugar dragon". Once you start your body gets hooked. That being said, an occasional treat isn't a bad thing. Just know what to expect and how to cope with the cravings afterwards. -
Really freaking out.
cherrybombknits replied to Huntingnurse's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Absolutely normal. You'll be just fine, good luck! -
Not taking your vitamins/meds is just asking for trouble. I had to change up my vitamins to get something I could keep down, but it's worth the effort. If you're having an adverse reaction to the gallbladder meds your dr should be able to prescribe an alternative.

I'm still having issues gauging "full". My kitchen scale has been the best tool other than my little Sleeven Colbert.
