I was self pay also & dont have a nut. I hv been reading this post & wondering abt how I eat. Some weeks I can eat more than others but lately just a couple hundred calories a day. I dont hv a lot of energy currently. I see how so many are doing 800+ & there is no way I cld eat tht but doing a shake wld help boost my intake. Im thinking I shld prob go back on shakes. Im 3mo out. -

You can use them for that. You can cook just about anything in them. You can toss some steaks, chicken, ect. Lots of recipes for the crockpot & very sleeve friendly. Ther's a few crockpot recipes in the recipe section. There's one off the top of my head Place chicken breast in crockpot & cover with a jar of salsa. Cook for 4-6 hours depends on the crockpot. You can put just about any saeasoning on it. I find lots of receipes on pinterest crockpot recipes. -

Have you thought of investing in a crockpot? There's hardly any prep time. Just toss in crock & let cook all night . Lots of recipes. You can do Talipia fish, grilled Jennie o lean turkey burgers, tuna-tht can be made a variety of ways for diff taste, frozen meatballs-just add some sauce.. Frozen veggies are good with your meal. -

How Much Have Yall Lost?
Ljp replied to courtney333's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Well I havent lost as much weight as you. You are doing GREAT! Sleeved on July 16th & hv lost 43 lbs. & 34.5 inches (I hv not measured since last month). I may be slow on losing actual pounds but its coming off everywhere & inches are falling off. Last Sunday I tried on a size 14 dress & it fit! It was tight in places so I didnt wear but it fit lololol. Thats a huge thing to me! I was wearing a 22-24 pant size! -
My Insurance Story - Blue Cross Blue Shield Of Illinois
Ljp replied to bakawaka's topic in Insurance & Financing
If anyone dont get approved & self pay is an option. My cousin & I both had surgery in Acuna, Mexico with no complications. Hospital is very very clean (constantly had someone sweeping & mopping) & after crossing the border from Del Rio the hospital is like 2 blocks. My Dr. Name is Dr. Luis Alberto Cruz Gandara ( he went by Dr. Crus). 772-0915. Something to think about. -
