What Do I Need For The Hospital And For The First Week At Home?

i also took an extension cord for my phone charger so it would reach the bed. there are not alot of plug in the room that where close. Even the nurses thought that was a good idea! And a pillow to hold against ur tummy for when u cough and the car ride home, helps with the bumps in the road! -

Extension cord AND ur phone charger! If u want ur phone to reach ur bed. there are not to many plugs close to ur bed! Even the nurses thought that was a good idea. -

Dont forget a pillow for the ride home. hold pillow against stomach when going over the bumps in the road! -

I am too running out of ideas on what to eat. I did go out and got a great book with lost of recipes for each stage. "Weight Loss Surgery Cookbook for Dummies!" It has helped alot! -
WOW! that is just crazy! I am truly lucky, and thank God every day for my job. I have one of the best medical insurance in the United States. I had the lapband and now the sleeve and paid zero out of pocket.

no nothing extra, but it was kinda nice staying the extra nite! i didnt have to make my own Breakfast and lunch, lol! -

I ran a low fever right after surgery, 99 -101, so the doctor made me stay an extra nite. but he said it was some what normal. Are u still in the hospital or r u home? If it doesn't go away by tomorrow u shoud call ur doctor or go to the ER just to be safe. Hope u feel better soon! -

when i found out that my band had slipped, my doctor then told me about the sleeve. After talking to him for an hour i told him lets do this. I did all my pre op stuff in less then 3 week and had to wait one week for insurance to approve. so it took me all of 30 days, and doctor removed my band and did the sleeve all in one surgery. -

Hi suzannesh! thanks for the recipe, it sounds good! i am gonna try it soon. I am 3 weeks post-op today and down 20lbs! I am walking 2 miles every day and feeling great!!
