Mine have been very painful since the surgery

Since the surgery, I haven't had normal periods. Range anywhere from 19-30 days. Guess it's hormonal changes in the body.

Even since I had the surgery, sleeved 8/7/12, I am always cold. It is so unlike me to be cold. I was the one who was always hot.. Felt like I was having hot flashes in the dead of winter. Would sometimes sweat from doing nothing. I'm not complaining just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this. It is easier to throw a sweater on...

I'm 5'5. When I started the surgery process my BMI was 40. I'm not sure what it is now. Didn't think to ask the dr.

I had my 3 1/2 month post op visit. My highest weight was 239. My surgery was on 8/7/12 and weighed 231. I weighed in last Friday and weighed 179. My dr was very pleased, and said you are doing great !!! You were small to begin with anyway. He asked me to speak to some potential surgery people, and I was happy to talk to everyone in the office about my success. They all said they would never thought I had surgery. I seem too small. I've never heard anyone call me small in my life. Just wanted to share my story. It's been a hard road but so worth it

I went through the same thing. I didn't realize it was acid reflux. Finally called the dr and the put me on an acid reducer. It worked wonders. I can finally eat, and not feel sick. Call your dr/ surgeon.

I' m sure there's plenty of us here living in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. It's been a very hard, trying ordeal. Especially with the food as scarce as it is. Hope everyone and their family is safe !!!!

Think im my changing goal weight to 175. Didn't realize Thsnksgiving is around the corner and don't think I can lose 12lbs by then.

I feel the same. And I'm about 10 weeks out. Taking ondansetron and tums. I even hate the thought of eating now.

Had to update from yesterday. I met my goal weight for the competition today . Woo Hoo 190!!!!!

Thank you !!! I will tell the truth. It will make me feel much better. I guess I was concerned bc he's a body builder and felt like he would judge me. And if he does judge me... He's not meant for me. Thank you again!!!

Pre- op, I weighed 239. I was 231 day of surgery 8/7/12. Weighed myself on 10/15/12, and I weight 191.

I miss spicy food. As soon as I eat it, my chest is on fire. Before the surgery , I would eat jalapeños without a blank of an eye. Now I'm scared too even put a jalepeno by my month. I'm 9 weeks out, and fear eating lettuce. Hopefully, that will change soon. Add what you miss...

I have to be honest ... The only thing I really want to eat is PROTEIN. I'm amazed at how I hardly want anything else.. Well of course the spicy stuff and lettuce.
