Hello sleevers, I have a question, and please don't think that I am trying to be disgusting, or anything like that, but I need to know if others are experiencing this as well. This is to see if what I am going through is as expected. Here is the question, After the sleeve surgery, into post 3 week, has anyone one else experience very strong burning acidic bowel movements?

Hello Everyone! I am into day 6 post op ( as of today). I am trying to drink lots of liquids, as I am always thirsty. Cold water, seems to hurt going down, so I wait until the water is room temperature. I am doing well with sugar free pops and liquids. I seem to get full quickly. This is a bit interesting, the foods that I was loving, or had cravings for doesn't even phase me now. In fact, I don't want it. I do crave watermelon, or broth, but none of the other foods; even if someone is eating it next to me. I love that part of it. I hope everyone else is doing well. Alia

Happy Saturday to everyone. Only 4 more days until my sleeve day arrives. I am excited! I hope that everyone who has gone through the sleeve has a good, healthy, and speedy recovery. Hello sleevers, I have seen on some sites where many people have developed headaches. I myself never received them. Maybe it's because I never ate that much sugar? I just wanted to congratulate all those that have joined and welcome them to the group. Happy Saturday to all

Good Morning!! I hope everyone will have a great day!! Another day has come and passed, which brings us closer to our day of our life changing event!! I am so excited, I am absolutely buzzing about. I am now on day 4 of my liquid diet as of today. Almost a week has gone by, and I am proud as I have not done any cheating. In fact, I haven't had any cravings for items. I simply eat when I am hungry, protein shakes and soup, and the wonderful pureed baby food, 'yum'. lol Well not really yum, but it gets the job done. I hope everyone does well with their diets, and off to a new and better life. Just imagine, next year at this same time, we will be thinking back to now, and remembering all the things we went through, what we had achieved, gained and lost. It will be a surreal, and powerful moment in our lives. One to cherish and remember, now that is one massive achievement!!

Has anyone started their liquid diets yet? I have, and gosh, I never felt so empty before. I have been trying to fill up on protein shakes and broth. After I eat, at that particular time, it does fill me up, then shortly within 4 or 5 hours later, I am empty again. I hope everyone else is doing well with their diets whilst preparing for their surgeries. I am so thrilled about this journey that I am about to embark on. I cannot tell everyone enough, how long that I have waited for this upcoming event to arrive. Does everyone else have the butterflies yet?

Hello Everyone! My name is Alia, and I will be having my sleeve done 23 August 2012. I am very nervous, yet excited at the same time. I cannot wait until the day arrives, so that I can begin my new life. Today is the first day of my 2 week liquid diet. I am doing great so far. Is anyone else going to Mexico for their sleeve the same time I am? Nice to meet everyone, feel free to say hello, and add me to your August sleeve list.
