Cloud 9 ..... Is This Really Real?
TracyLynn replied to Tia Noel's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I believe I am at this point too. I have faced my problems, but my weight is holding me back from alot. I am ready for the change, I too am having an issue believing this will happen soon. The first place I went to, after they got my down payment, everyone was rude and I realized they were to many others. They were pushing me into lap band too. So I changed surgeons, this guy and his staff are so nice, it is nice to feel like someone wants to help. This is when I first learned about the sleeve. I am self pay, so I also went through the rejection of one loan, I was down that day, really down. But I got back up and tried again, got a higher loan at a better rate at another place. Good luck and keep the faith. I know it is easier said than done (I am very impatient), but December will come and you will be happy. I have only been a member since yesterday, but this site has helped alot. -
Hey Ladies... A Few Personal Questions
TracyLynn replied to myownjourney's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Very good post and good information in it. Thin people never understand what it is like. It is not about vanity, it is about health. The clothes in the mall is a good example too. I am tired of shopping at Lane Bryant, I love their clothes, but they are so expensive. I want to be able to shop at normal stores, and I don't plan on being thin, chuncky and healthy is fine with me! -
What Do You Tell People
TracyLynn replied to jennrus's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I too am planning on telling everyone when it is all said and done. I have told my family and those closest to me, I have made up my mind and I do not want anyone trying to 'scare' me into not doing it, or trying to convince me otherwise. This is what I want to do, and I too hope I can be there for others who have questions and offer helpful advice. -
Got My Yonanas Machine For 4$
TracyLynn replied to lucysmama215's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Wow, I have never heard of this either, sounds cool. I am pre-op, but that sounds like a great idea. Anyone have any opinions on which is better, Yonanas and Ninja was mentioned, also any preferences on model? -
Nsv... I Went From 5:45 Am To 5 Pm Without Using My Wheelchair...
TracyLynn replied to tjmom's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Wow, what an insipiring story. Good luck to you and congratulations! I have not had my surgery yet (tenativly scheduled for Aug 14th pending pre-tests) but I love to hear stories like this. It confirms that I am making the right decission for me. Keep up the good work! -
I am I only telling those close to me now. As I do not want anyone trying to think they can change my mind. This is my choice and I am ready. Afterwards I don't foresee a problem with me telling people. And those who may be judgemental at first will see how good and healthy I am looking, so then they will have no place to say anything. I am actually using judgemental people to my advantage. I AM going to prove them wrong. I will make this a success. That is the way I see things. (although explaining it to everyone may get boring, maybe I can inspire someone else to try by sharing)

Hello, My name is Tracy and I am new to this site. There seems to be a lot of helpful information and caring people on here. I was going to get the Lap Band at first, as I was with another clinic and they upsold it. I found out they had an F from the BBB. I found Dr Welle and read more about him and his practice, I was impressed. I found out about the Sleeve from them, and went to talk with him yesterday and it seems like such a better choice for me (both the sleeve and his practice). I am excited to start this new journey and since I am self-pay (my Cigna plan has no bariatric coverage), I will not have to wait long. About 2-3 weeks until surgery, depending on how fast I can get pre-op testing done. I look forward to talking with you all and looking at the information on this site.

At What Weight Limit Did You Say "you Have Had Enough"?
TracyLynn replied to Gonnabeslim1day's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I realized something needed to be done when I saw myself in pictures, and thought how did I let it get this far? This was it for me, I decided no more excuses. I need to get healthier, I want to live life not lay around. -
I Want To See Before & After Pics!

I agree with you bethL, I don't care about being thin, just about being happy with me and most importantly healthy. -
Anyone Having Trouble Getting Information?
TracyLynn replied to IsaacsGram's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am having this issue too, I want to let my work know when I will need to take time off. When I asked when my surgery would be I was told 2-3 weeks, depending on how fast I can get my pre-tests done. Since I am a cash patient, it will go faster for me, but I want to start this new journey. I do not want to wait. Good luck with things. -
The Struggles With Pcos
TracyLynn replied to SecondThoughts's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I too was wondering, I have PCOS, will the surgery reverse that or at least lessen the side effects? I have read that some people, after the weight loss, seem to no longer have PCOS, how true is that?
