    Goals.

    That does help to know

    Goals.

I assume in ways it's better to know the goal going in and ways it might be better to let the body decide just weird is all.

    Goals.

When do you know your at goal? I'm 11 months post next week, and have been stalled for almost 2 months. I haven't gained at all during which is the great news. I had surgery August 1 last year. I'm happy with my weight now but truly had just guessed my own target, and now at just 3 lbs away from one of them it stopped. What's too small? I went from a size 16-18 and xxl shirt to a size 2-4 and small/medium at 138, the number still sounds larger than i expected. i know I'm in a normal weight range now for my height 5'4 - 5'5 but still feels off, has anyone of my height been given a goal by the doctors? Am I where I should be? Ps for anyone else who's a ways into this, you stop being able to see or recognize yourself some my whole face changed (twice) so gauging a goal seems harder visually.

    Alcohol

One drink became well enough for me more than that and then it's unreasonable drunk hard to see the limit early on

    Please Help Me Decide ...

Good luck on your decision, however before you fear the leak idea, I would definitely suggest checking out statistics on the Band also, as I read some things that would make never consider the band.
  6. One week was enough for me to get back to work at a desk job, but I was still really tired for those first few days. I think the walking during the day helped though and having to stay awake.

What am I doing to myself?

You've already done it, so no reason to cry about it now, just hope everything is okay, and focus on tomorrow and now, not yesterday.
  8. No phentermine after, therapy would be better, I know that hunger isn't a true feeling I get anymore, as they remove this with your surgery however it varies, i've learned almost all of my hunger is based on nothing but head hunger, the best thing is to find a hobby or something to take your mind off the food.

    How slow?

Always eat slow until you learn your limit, then you can eat quicker you just have to visually be able to recognize when you need to stop at that point and know how different foods feel, some things will make you much more full than others, and yes, lots of the time it ends up cold.

    Just one more bite

The second you feel satisfied you should stop, my step-mother recommended keeping a spray bottle of vinegar for a while to spray my plate when I felt that feeling so I wouldn't be tempted to try to keep eating it.

    Disappointed!

Body shock, it happens, I didn't lose for almost two weeks out of my first month because of it, on the plus side I didn't stall at 3 months, the more stable you are the better.

    Day 3 post op...

Sugar free popcycles, that's how I survived the few days after mainly. Let them melt in your mouth so it's not too much at once.

    First follow up post op

Awesome! Your making progress already, the best thing is as it comes off, it's not like an old diet where it just comes back that was when I realized the life.
