I had my surgery feb 6th. So far I'm getting in all my liquids, protien has been a little issue since it fulls me really fast. But I am trying. As far as pain, I still have a little pain in my tummy. Also when I drink I feel some pain down in my stomach for like 3 secs. I don't know what's that about. Maby cause I had a hernia repiar?? I can sleep on my left side now yeaa. Lol. I can tell I'm losing already, and it hasn't been a week. I know I'm losing inches. Also I been having diarrhea smh. Is that normal? I'm also trying to be creative with this liquid diet, its getting boring but I don't have much choices. All in all I feel great, a little weak though. I am greatful to god for getting an opportunity to have surgery and get a second chance.

Well I'm finally on the losers bench . The surgery went well, they found the hernia and repaired it. I have no regrets at all. I'm not hungry, nor do I crave food. My mom passed by and had one of my fav dishes and I didn't even care I forgot until now. I have so much gas pain its to much. I have walked and walked and walked. Little by little it goes away. The morphine was a big help. No vomiting no nausa no itching thank God. I got one more night here and I'm going home can't wait. I pray tht everyone on here has a safe a speedy recoverery. :-)

Today is the big day. I'm already packed and ready just waiting on my boyfriend who has been so negative througout the whole process, still is. , but anyway this is my day I waited so long for this day. I know god will be with me every step of the way. I have to be in at 7am. I'm sooo ready to be on the loser bench. Prayers for everyone who is having surgery today. I will update soon as I can.

Omg less then a week away for me. 4 days to be exact. I feel like I have so much to prepare for and so little time left. Before I felt like it was so long away for my surgery date. Now I feel like I don't have enough time to prepare. Lol. I did my pre op yesterday (Friday) all I have left is an upper GI, and I'm in. This feels like I just won the freaking mega millions jackpot. I walk around with a big smile on my face all day. However I'm mourning food already and I didn't even have the surgery and I'm not on a pre op diet lol. My prayers go out to every single one in this group and others. God bless :-)

Took about 6 months for me. It is def worth the wait.

I'm getting sleeved in New York, by Dr. Chopra. We are going to be sleeve sisters :-)

I'm going through the same thing. My boyfriend tells me everyday not to get it. It gets annoying! He even went as far to say he is going to leave me if i get surgery. SMH. My surgery is Feb 6 th, and only my God can stop me. i have to deal with my weight not him. I have to deal with heath issues not him. So I'm going to do something about it and get surgery. Its your body and your health at the end of the day!

I'm Feb 6th, whoohoo oh yea. Lol no pre op diet, but I'm still gonna do one. I have my pre op appt on Feb 1st. And I have an upper GI Feb 5th, then off to my surgery. Omg I waited so long for this and I'm so ready. Let's do this February sleevers! Fist pump in the air lol.

When I spoke to my surgeon, the first thing he told me was if I want the Sleeve to work it is all up to me! He said I can mess up my sleeve if I do not follow the rules. So I'm sure as long as we sleevers stay on track and maintian a healthy lifestyle, we will be more then okay. :-)

Wow this post is awesome. I am such a wreck thinking about the worst possible thing that can happen when I get surgery. I have my pre op appt on the 15th of this month and should be getting a surgery date then. I was so scared. But when I read this post it really calm me down and inspired me to keep going. Thank you to all who posted.
