I was a thin, active kid until I was 10. That fathers day, I had a moped accident that caused over 400 stitches needed to repair my ankle, leaving me laid up on the couch watching tv and eating cheetos and French onion dip for 4 months. I gained about 25 pounds that summer, along with many very bad habits. It was downhill from there, as I continued my bad habits through the years. I was 155 in the seventh grade and graduated at 5'6" and 190. Then, I just got really, really stupid about my food, while working too many hours to exercise (and if I'm being honest, just didn't have the drive anyway) until I hit 373 pounds, at 5'6", wearing a 5x-6x shirt and size 56" waist with 28" inseam jeans.

My biggest problem through the years has been that no matter how much I ate, I didn't feel full. I still hold the record among my friends at Quaker steak oil & lube all you can eat wing night. 64 wings at 1 meal. Yep, I was real proud of that one. I got my sleeve on June 5, 2012. Now, I finally feel like I've had enough to eat. And am ready to give my wife and kids the husband and father that they deserve.
