My surgery went very well, with 2 glitches. I had a hiatal hernia that was unknown until the surgery started. Dr. Johnson fixed the hernia and then I had a bleed from one vein between my stomach and spleen. It took about an hour and a half to two hours to finally stop the bleeding, meaning that I had to stay an extra day in the hospital and take it easy for a little while longer than otherwise to prevent another bleed.
