Lol. Thanks. I'm just now at your initial starting weight... so we'll see. I'm totally going to kick 'statistics ass'. lol I wanna be a SMO who makes it to goal and has PS and looks super fly!

I'm game to share a room with anyone. 50/50 split would be wayyyy better for me financially!!

Thanks Beckie! Yeah, I have come a long way... I think cause i started out with over 200 pounds to lose that I just get extra frustrated. So many people are either at goal or close to it, and I'm not even halfway yet!! You are lucky that your MRSA has stayed localized! you must have an amazing immune system! And it is kind of ironic that you'lll have your port out on our bandiversary! I'll definatly be thinking about you!!! HUGS!

Hey BG. Glad you're alive.

I'm definatly going to the conference now. I can'celled the Nigeria trip. Basically I need to focus more energy and money on moving next Spring. I'm going to drive down to Houston in late Sept, and stay there for 2 weeks, then I'll hit the conference in Dallas on my way home. My friend that lives in Houston is looking into the band too, she is currently on her 6 month diet, so if she gets approved she has talked about maybe doing the conference with me. Should be fun!

Just thought I'd check in... I'm a freaking bottomless pit today. Not hungry, not full. I even ate 'real' food before going fo junk food. I have to wait 2 1/2 more weeks to go back for a fill. I was back up to 280 this morning... I was 272 the day I got my slight unfill 2 weeks ago. I'm totally bummed. Oh, and I'm on my dang period too... I'm sure thats a cause for all of the above, huh? Blah!! I only have to work 2 more days... then I;m off Thurs - Mon. I'm going to Mountain View Arkansas with my family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) Fri-Sun. I'm sooooo looking forward to it. I just wish I was about 20 pounds less than I am currently... They will all still tell me I look great and stuff... but I don't FEEL like I do. I know I've lost 100 pounds, and that that is a great accomplishment... but I still just feel fat and gross and I get mad (really, more like pissed off!) lately when ANYONE mentions my weightloss or says I look good. I know I don't. I've gained, not lost. It's annoying. I'm frustrated with myself. I want my band to do all the work. I don't want to do anything. I just want to sit here eating crap foods and have the weight melt off. I think I have the 1 year blues... Someone, please. Kick my arse and tell me how lucky I am to have this tool? Make me WANT to do the work for myself, for my health, for my future. Or just chime in with your own blues... you know how misery loves company. Lol.

Wow! I still can't do the slightest hill, so you impress me chica! OK, congratulate me (lol) I went to the store and even though I bought ice cream, I'm forcing myself to eat real food before I indulge... and at this point I'm stuffed and may not even touch the ice cream!! Usuallly I'd just forego the dinner portion of the meal and skip right to the ice cream.

Thanks C. I was so wiped out last night. I swear I was in bed asleep by 9pm, and that never happens! Woke up feeling better this morning. My Princess (female cat) and I are missing our baby boy, but we're doing ok. Lol. I secretly think she likes being an only child sometimes. Hahah!! It's raining terrible here. Really bright lightening and LOUD thunder kept waking me up between about 3 and 5am. Guess no riding or walking for me today. My mom is supposed to come to town today, since it's the holiday weekend. She'll stop by here and we'll have lunch or dinner, depending on what time she comes, and hopefully she'll float me a financial loan to assist in paying Vet bills. Lol!! I love my mommy! (even if I am 31 years old!) Hope ya'll have a great day/weekend. :rolleyes2:

Well... had a guy die. Of course since I work oncology this happens more than I'd like. But still... even when an old man with metastatic cancer is on comfort care only... it's still sad and draining for me. I think it's more the family than the actual dead patient. Then I come home to find that my baby (my 2 year old male cat) is again having trouble peeing. He tried for 3 full minutes (I timed him) and wasn't able to pee a drop. Not even 2 weeks ago he was at the vet for doing only dribbles and is now on a prescription food. He just finished his last antibiotic on Monday. I'm just so DRAINED!! He's my baby. So yeah. He's at the Vet for the night, they were going to cath him to empty his bladder and get a specimen. She's going to call me tomorrow with ... I dunno. Hopefully that he's cured. Lol. I just miss my baby.

I'm here. Been a long rough day for me... Happy Memorial day weekend everyone! :cursing:

-
Aww. so glad she likes them!! :blushing:

I like my tea plain... just like tinted water. Lol.

A few years ago I was in Mississippi for my cousins wedding and was pretty damned dumbfounded when the waitress at a restraunte asked us if we wanted "Sweet Tea or Unsweet Tea." all in her southern accent. Haha. I'd never heard of such a thing before!!
-
I am. Though I never said it until I was about 12 and my Aunt from Texas moved in with us. Lol. So thats where I get it from. I also say 'soda' instead of 'pop' or 'cola' or 'coke' or whatever else ppl call it.
-
Lol. Ya'll are silly.

I didn't watch American Idol much at all this year... it was on at the same time as Biggest Loser for a while, and I watched that instead... and by the time that was done AI was already in full swing. David Cook is from Blue Springs MO which is just a 'stones throw' away from KC... so I've been hearing all about him and his performances ALLLLLLLLLLL season long. Lol. Everytime I got to WalMart I see at least one person wearing a David Cook tshirt. Lol. BTW... I'm now up 6 pounds since my unfill on the 12th. I R.E.A.L.L.Y. need to start exercising again regularly... this dang band won't work on its own!!
-
Hey Cathy!! Congrats on getting you a band! You will LOVE it... once you get fills and restriction. Lol. SO you're from Kinsport TN? I'm friends with a girl from there. She is here in KC in Med School for now though. Very small world!
-
Woot! I got us started on another page!
-
Flowers huh? lol... nice. I'll come to the wedding as well... maybe you can set me up with a nice elliptical machine or something? Ha! Flip flops should be your way any day now. Can't remember if I did 2 or 3 day shipping. Maybe tomorrow...? You'll have to let me know how the girls like them. I'm sure you'll want a pair for yourself too!

OMG D!!!!!!!! I'm sitting here laughing my ass off! You crack me up!! I heart that song too...

BB - Wow... I'm glad they found a way for her to graduate. Ugh! So glad my high school didn't require that! Lol... I graduated #23 in a class of 25 students! I hated high school and just never did my work. In college, when it was my choice to be there, and studying something that I found interesting and useful I held a 3.5 GPA. High school is overrated and out of date... when will they learn? Janine - evening snacking... I started crocheting last December. It keep both of my hands tied up and snack free while watching TV in the evenings. Mostly I just don't want to get my yarn all cheesey or wet or crumbs in it... whatever I may have snacked on. I get one evening snack prior to starting crochet, and I get a dinner break. PLUS I get to make these fabulous things! I'm always making fluffy flip flops, currently working on a major afghan, and have plans to do a few decorative pillows... a couple throw blanket type afghans, etc. I"ve also made a purse that my Mom tried to steal from me. So, pick you a hobby that keeps TWO hands busy and go for it!
