Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Rhonda! HUGS!! I SWEAR the only reason I've lost 103 is cause I had over 230 to lose from the start!! Lol, The more you have to lose the faster it comes off... in the BEGINING! Right now I"m barely losing at all. I still have huge addiction to chocolate. I totally don't eat the right stuff, cause I"d be full on 3 bites! So I eat chocolate and cereal bars that I know I can finish... Like, I seriously can't finish a 4oz fiber yogurt... but I can eat an entire bowl of cereal... I can eat a Fiber one bar. I can eat ice cream (but I"m abstaining from it until my birthday in TWO weeks.) And you are so right about the others who don't post! THey've even come on to say that they just aren't losing. I wish they'd come back. We all need support. Not ONE of us has had an 'easy' time. We all struggle with our own demons and are fighting tooth and nail to get thin and healthy. Hang in there. Keep reading and posting.

    Has anyone taken up Bycyling?

Trikke USA - drive your fitness machine Anyone ever hear of or see these before? I saw one on the before & after pics thread and googled it. It looks cool! I think we should all get one!! And... have you see this: Sturm Foods A co-worker had some of the fiber infusion vita splash yesterday and I bought some tonight. It's good! Always need to get in extra fiber AND water, so this will work. Oh, and it's cool, windy, and going to rain here any minute (it seems) so I'm not riding my bike today. I am doing the 5K AIDS walk on Saturday though. (BG - Flat Stanley will do the AIDS walk too!) STEFANIE!!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY my darling weight lifting nazi friend!! I love you!!

Stefanie Bathany. Thats a twister!! Yeah, when I was thinking of names for my bike that was all that kept popping in my head. I usually just go with gut instinct... ie: I have cats named Princess Jezzebelle Sunshine and Sir Toadeous. Thank God I don't have kids!! Poor things would have horrible names!! Welcome back D!!!!!! My work had a huge ole pot luck for "Administrative Professionals Week" and there was more food than there were people!! I didn't eat ANY of it... until about 2:30 when I went in the breakroom to pee and grabbed about 7 potato chips. I was really proud of myself. They even had ICE CREAM! BTW, BG - I got Flat Stanley yesterday. He went to work with me today for 'Take your kids to work day'... he got his picture taken by the sign in the front entrance to the hospital. Lol. All the nurses loved him. I'm going to take him back tomorrow to see if I can get a pic of him with one of our Volunteer VFW guys. I can't take pics of patients, or else I'd do that. Lol. And I have big plans for him this weekend too!!

cc=ml. They are the same thing I have (I think?) 8 or 8.5cc in a 10cc band. I'm pretty dang tight! Today I had: BREAKFAST: 2 oz OJ SNACK: FiberOne bar LUNCH: BeneFit yogurt (3oz of the 4oz container) SNACK: approx 7 Lays potato chips. (they were in the breakroom at work!!) DINNER: I haven't eaten yet, but am thinking about having either a hard boiked egg, or a protein shake... NO ONE can yell at me. Lol. I know I"m not getting protein in on a regular basis. I struggle with getting enough fiber. I wishthey made a fiber/protein bar!!! Ahh that would be heaven!!

If I decide to go I'll probably drive up... me with Bethany Sue hitched to the back of the car. Haha. I haven't looked up the drive info, but if i can handle driving to Houston 800+ miles every year, I think I can drive to the Detroit area. I'd really love to meet ya'll... so we'll see what I can pull off. Money will be the biggest thing for me, cause I'm poverty level... and I am in Arkansas with family the weekend before this event... Yeah. We'll see. I think today is supposed to be nice. I have these new bike capris with padded ass that I want to try out. So we'll see if I make that happen. Man, I'm gonna be late for work again.

Thanks HP. I'd totally love to do it. Gosh. I have such little faith in myself. It's been a rough few days. Weather here sucks arse. Been raining and hailing and such for days. We'll have a good day... but I'm always busy and *can't* ride. I need to get my booty on that bike and make it a priority. I know that once I have a few good successful rides that I'll be even more hooked. RIght now I think I"m just at the point where the idea is better than the doing part. Lol. Thinking about riding doesn't hurt my butt.. or my pride! OK, next dry, non-freezing day I will get on that bike and make it count... even if it's only a mile. What is the date of the ride ya'll are thinking about?

Yay for new babies Janine!!! Lol. My mom because a Grandma when she was 38. Maybe she was 39. I don't remember... Lol. Went out to eat at Sweet Tomatoes with a friend tonight. I love going to eat with her. She is my super thin friend and she has been nothing but supportive of me from the begining. She is the only friend that I have who knows about my band, and will still go out and eat with me. Seriously. Maybe a few others will go out with me, but they hate watching me eat tiny portions, and tiny bites and chewing. Honestly, I hate watching them scarf down huge bites of things I could never dare to eat. Lol. Oh well. ANYWAY... so we went out and I seriously paid $10 to eat like 6 peas, a few peices of shredded cheese, 1 crouton, 1 small broccoli head, 2 sips of broccoli and cheese soup, and a few sunflower seeds!!! Thats insanity. We laughed really hard about it and she said that she was going back for 'thirds' to finish eating our moneys worth. Haha. We had a good time. Missy - I know what you mean about the scale... this morning I was back at 280.1. yesterday morning I was at 279.1. But (here's nasty TMI talk) I realized I hadn't had a bowel movement in like 3 days. So I doubled up on the fiber today, which just made me gassy. I really felt like I SHOULD go tonight, so I did a suppository! Haha. I was desperate! I feel about 5 pounds lighter now. Yay me!

Thats awesome Missy! I think when the day finally hits that I'm in ONEderland I will scream it from the rooftops!! Lol. Page 300 yet??
  11. Suzzzie.

    June 2007 Bandsters

Bah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I give up. Someone else gets to get us to 300!
  12. Suzzzie.

    June 2007 Bandsters

Oh... well... just to TRY to get us to page 300 I'll tell you all something. I went shopping for new uniforms yesterday, and fit into a size XL scrub pants!! XL! OK. so they are tight, but I can get them all the way on and sit without the butt ripping out. They fit me like my 3X fit this time last year. Lol. Yep, I was wearing a 4X scrub pant last year (cause like I as saying, the 3X were tight.) Last year I was wearing a 4X scrub top. Most of them were getting rather tight... Now I'm comfortablly in a 3X top. I have 1 2X top I can wear, but otherwise I have to stick with the 3X. I'm just top heavy. I have no hips to speak of, so I've always been a size smaller on the bottom. Oh... and some of my size 24 jeans are a bit baggy... but I can't get into 22s yet. Clothes are fun and frustrating... but I'm still THRILLED that I'm just not in a size 32 pants anymore! Weeeeeeeeeeee!!! Did that get us to page 300 yet?

    Newbie~

Well hello neighbor!! I used the weightloss surgical center in OP KS. My insurence paid all but about $1000. They will file and fight with your insurance... if they still won't cover you there is financing available. Portal-to-Go Error Feel free to ask me any questions...

How'd you know about the penguin hat? Lol... did I write about that? Oh... did I send you a pic? Lol. I'm a nerd. Oh yes. Before pics. Those weren't cutting it this morning. Haha. I still felt huge and bloated, so I actually put on my size 32 jeans I was wearing last year, Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank God they fell right off of me!! Lol. I'm proudly wearing size 24. I'd really really LOVE to be a size 22 by my surgery annivesary in June. I should work on that... But I'm waiting for *someone* to kick me in the arse with a workout schedule. Haha. Until then I'm sitting on my butt whining,
  25. Suzzzie.

    June 2007 Bandsters

I need a few minutes to whine... and no one understands me like ya'll do. So, TMI or not... when I'm on my period my band gets tighter. And today we had a huge dinner for my Gramps' 83rd birthday. I ate a few bites of a veggie cassarole I made and then a few bites of mashed potatoes. It took me just as long to eat that as it did for most of my family to eat entire plates full of meat loaf and salad and whatever else there was. I kept looking at their plates and wanted to cry. People take huge bites of things like dinner rolls and salad, and I can't eat these things at ALL. If you remember, NO one in my family knows about my band. I'm always paranoid that people will try to push me to eat more... we're all 'feeders', but no one has really said anything to me today. A few people who did see my plate were like, "is that all you're eating?" I mostly stood in a corner to eat, so most people couldn't see what I was or wasn't eating. And the whole period thing... it's basically new to me. This is 3 months in a row now. That has NEVER happened to me before. I got my first one when I was 12, and then I think a few months later I had another... I'd read that in the begining a young girl may not have a regular cycle for a year or more, so I never thought anything about it. After a few years, I did some more research and just kinda figured that the absence of a menstral cycle was a blessing. Lol. Ok, seriously, I just attributed it to my weight. I've been over 300 pounds since I was about 16 years old. In my early 20s I learned about PCOS, and figured that is what the problem was. I still wasn't upset about it. The few times I'd had a period I hated it. And now that it's been here for 3 months in a row I'm really hating it. Even more weird though... I go about 5 weeks between cycles... so it's still not regulated. Losing 100 pounds has been great... don't get me wrong... but on days like today all I can see is how far I still have to go... the wrinkling and sagging skin I have on my arms, thighs, belly, and flat droopy boobs... and having to bleed every month is certainly no reward. Woe is me...
