Everyone is different . I just think you get what you put in to the sleeve. So I figure I try to do as much as I can safely while the motivation is still fresh. I know there may be a point that I might slack and get comfortable. But I'm trying to avoid that for as long as possible. So attack the fat with all you have. Lol

I know I'm not supposed to be in here ...... But I think you should hear this. Confidence can be the most attractive quality in a woman. Being honest , saying what you mean and asking what you want to know ( without caring about the outcome) will separate you from the rest. You hear people speak of guys gaining liquid courage after a few drinks.... Well my sleeve has been my "liquid courage". I hope everyone can experience this newly found care free view on life. So go for it.... Tell the dude that he smells delish lol just don't tell him that you sniff the room when he leaves cause he might think that's weird lol JK. Just do it!!!

Hey all. I too had my surgery on 10/1. I'm down 35 lbs total from the beginning of my 2 week pre op diet till today. 18 lbs from day of surgery. I began walking 8 hrs after surgery and I try to walk everyday. I was cleared at my one week post op for salsa dancing and I now dance twice a week. Looking forward to getting cleared for lifting weights in another 3.5 weeks.

What's up people. I've been brainstorming about all of the things that I want to accomplish after I lose the weight. I believe that if you speak things into existence, they will happen. So im hoping you guys give your input so that I can steal some your goals and so that they can become a reality for you Lol. Here is my list that I will accomplish within my first year post op, GOD willing. I want to: •shop at Armani Exchange •cycle in a century •go skydiving •go to great adventures amusement park •run in a race •take my son to the park and play with him without being short of breath

i weigh 259 lbs but my confidence is on 170 lbs lol i can't wait till they match!!!!!

Hey Chub. I gotta say that I feel like $1000. Minimal discomfort. Hick ups ( day 1) and Gas through out have been the worst to deal with. Some soreness on my right side. Walking and gas x strips works wonders. I'm looking forward to feeling like $1,000,000 lol. Dr Garber, the staff at Mercy Medical Center and the staff at NYBG have been amazing. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't go anywhere else. I'm curious and excited about what's to come.
