OMG!!!!! I feel the same way... i went happy with buying heels i bought like 4 pair in a 2 week period... its bad i know its just that i got so excited when i fit 8.5 heels and could walk in them!!!! But clothes wise at first i was good for a little while because the clothes i had were all tight on me (i refused to buy larger sizes.... i know denial but hey thats all the past now) but i try not to buy too much... i buy the necessary things (bras and undies) This is easy for me because i pretty much live in scrubs because i work all day and they are drawstring!!

I freaked out when i went without a period for 10 mths:confused:..... id rather deal with the cramps and headaches then to go without a period.... No periods puts us at a higher risks for endometrial cancer... according to my doctor... she says at the very least every 2-3mths is ok

Is it normal to vomit water after fill?
Jeni 85 replied to josuea02's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
i tend to lose more during my periods because everything i eat sends me running to the bathroom or gives me horrible cramps to where i cant move.. so i avoid eating at all... i just make sure to keep myself hydrated... but the week before my period is extreme bloating and i tend to gain....Gotta love those periods!! -
my dr. put me on Yasmin.. to regulate the periods.. and she said she doesn't really believe in prescribing metformin if my sugar is under control... d (but i have to see her like every month or so to check my sugar levels... and if they are not under control... walgreens here i come)

UPDATED THE LIST UP TO WOMBAT... Everyone is doing so great already!!!!

What horrible things have Dr.s said to you?
Jeni 85 replied to zippykat's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
ALL MY PREVIOUS DOCTORS WERE LIKE THIS.... AND i always went to get a new one after a while of thier degrading manners... my current pcp... well didn't want me to have surgery, and was completelyagainst it... she even argued my surgeon.... (thank god he believed in me and did the surgery anyway)... But i decided to stay with her because i wanted to prove to her how successful i could be... and how people could benefit from this surgery... (she doesnt believe in WLS) Maybe future patients of hers wont have to argue with her... And almost a year later she is thrilled at my results!!!:frown: OMG........He so deserved every word... I'm sorry i hope your new PCP is giving you the care you and all of us deserve... Dr. are supposed to be compassionate and respectful towards us... not to ridicule us for our weight. -
