    Dropping a shoe size?

    Depending on shoe style Gym shoes went from 10-10.5 w to 8.5 regular Heels went from 11 -10 to 8.5 maybe 9 depends on syle but im so excited .. there is a shoe store near me called BAKERS and thier shoes run narrow!!! and i went there 2wks ago, asked a girl for a size 9.5 and she came back and said we only have a 8.5 so i figured all try.. and guess what they slipped on no problem... So i walked out of theier with a new pair of sexy 8.5 heels!!!!:smile:

  3. SO AGREE!!!! hahahahahha... try living in Chicago with the freaking wind!!! (lvly not mad just joking around) We Chicagoans are happy to see anything in the + double digits... although with wind chill one day we were at -17 .... Thing like this make it harder to get yourself to the gym.... But you gotta do, What you GOTTA DO!!:wink2:
  4. Just because your not on meds doesn't mean you don't have it talk to your dr. and be honest with them... let him or her to you... but im assuming you do because she wants you to try to get it down through diet and exercise.. dr always want to try this first before RX .

  7. the scale can be frustrating sometimes but try staying off of it for a couple days and tweak your diet with different foods.. and modify your exercise plan and see what happens .... i find this sually works for me when i hit a plateau... Good luck to you.. and let us know if it helped..

    Wow, this thread is moving slowly these days..... But i have something to add to the list... I was able to stay on the tread mill for 1hour and still able to work out on other equipment.. I was only able to go on the tread mill for 30min before and thats it..

    Ya the snow here in Chicago is driving me crazy as well... i am so beyond done with winter.. and when there is no snow fall, its freezing... Right now it is -17 below with the dang wind chill.. And to top it off a got this dang URI (upper respiratory infection) so im definitely staying in the house.:thumbup:

  14. Ignore them..... and don't let them drag you down... I admit it would have got me mad too (im not self pay but had to jump through hoops to get insurance to pay) but everyone makes their own decisions... if they want to eat all unhealthy food they wont be successful..while the rest of us bandsters who choose to eat well will be actually able to reach goal... and they wont... I know nobody's perfect but there is a difference between those whom try to eat well and those who don't give a damn.. I know i've slipped up before but to sit there a purposefully do so is beyond my imagination
  15. both work well.... just think of which will work best for you... With WW you track in a little book and daily plate you track on the computer... which is more convenient for you... try doing both for a little while n see which you like better... I personally dont do either.. i just make sure i k=make healthy choices all day based on calories and Protein... and it has worked for me... The only time i track myself for a couple of days is when i hit a plateau to see what i need to change.. Good Luck with any decision that you make:thumbup:

  18. :cursing:Okay, being sick sux!!! I went to the doctor today and turn out a have a Upper Respiratory Infection (URI)!!!:crying: It majorly sux!!! But oh well here is my day. I know its not a lot but being Lethargic and all. it makes sense. B: 8oz of cranberry apple juice L: 4 bites of vanilla cinnamon oatmeal D: About 2oz of apple sauce and some blueberries S: 3 baby carrots As soon as my mom gets home with that chicken noodle Soup im going to have some of that.. Maybe if it appeals to me.... The only reason i ate at all is because i don't like taking meds on a empty stomach..

B: OATMEAL WITH SOME BLUEBERRIES L: 4 OZ TUNA WITH MAYO AND 2 CRACKERS D: Chicken noodle soup with a bit or two of a hot dog (without the bun of course) S: 8oz of cranberry juice and 8oz of Orange Juice I know avoid liquid and soft foods but not much of an appitite today and the chicken noodle soup helps with this nasty cold i got giong

    I finally decided to exercise more as a way to really get that scale moving.. Yesterday i spent 1.5hours at the gym!!! I really didn't want to go at first but was so thrilled that i did go afterwards... A lot more energy... But ya while i was there i talked to a personal trainer and he said he would get me a good deal if i get some sessions with them... So i decided why not.. I really need to add strength training to my routines and they will show me how to do that... I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS!!!

    Yes i would....I am absolutely thrilled with my progress so far... Im not evena whole 11mths post-op and im down 78lbs:biggrin2:
