Two days away and I will have crossed the finish line. Today I have been eating SF Popsicles all day along with broth. I don't fell hungry. I just could not drink another Slimfast! I plan on having SF jello for tomorrow. I will be packing shortly. I'm so excited. I don't want to over pack. I have to drag that stuff three flights up once discharged. So light is the way to go. Thinking of wearing a maxi dress or draw string shorts; Simple comfortable clothes. Hope it's not super hot when I'm discharged. I plan to walk the hall until my first post op visit. Then if all cleared I can do the stairs and I can walk the track. I also wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their kind words and thoughts as well as the great advice and feedback to all the sleevers on this site. It has been a great help. Continued success on this journey! Karen

I'm hungry on clear liquids. I'm on them until my first post op visit (tomorrow) but I did test drive cream of rice with unflavored protein, yummy it killed the hungry beast lol. I hope to be cleared to stay on full liquids.

The materials provided to me from my doctors office and the research I did showed it is rather common to remove the gallbladder.

I had mine done at temple university on July 22. They were great!

Well worth it!

What's your blood pressure looking like as well as your A1C? They look at all of those. For me my blood pressure, A1C, weight (up and down), then sleep apnea and I had a thyroid issue all worked in my favor for the approval process. The sleep apnea sealed the deal with atena. BMI may play a factor not sure how much, but a history of it going up and down could work in that it shows you have been trying but have not been successful with maintaining a lower weight.

So happy you are doing well and the pain is minimal and can be managed.
