Dark ursine means you need more water. The pepple poop is normal.
  2. I read all labels. If the salt is high it goes back.
  3. I found if I started my day with hot decaf tea the rest of my meals and water intake went fine for the day.

I'm having tuna, chicken and turkey salad all home made. Unsweetened applesauce. Dannon light and fit Greek yogurt. Mashed potatoes, I put unflavored Protein in them lol. I go back to work on the 19th
  5. Progressing well on my journey. This is the best decision I ever made!

  6. I tried canned turkey, made a salad with boiled eggs, onions, relish, garlic. Threw it in a food processor and it made a great meal. Going to do the same for tuna and chicken. I tried hummus as well, going to try refried Beans next.

I had surgery on the 22nd of July, all is going well. I was able to get all of fluids in during week on and two. Finding the soft purée food stage interesting and allows me to be creative. Pain is ok, I haven't been on any pain meds. I stopped the morphine while in the hospital it made me so nauseous. The hardest part for me was getting thrush, my tongue was coated and my breath was so rank! But once I was allowed to have my liquid protein drinks and yogurt everything got better. I have a sharp pain from the excess skin pulling from time to time, so I wear a griddle to keep the skin still. I am glad you are doing well. Sorry to hear about the emergency surgery. Keep up the great work,

    Hey Guys

I'm so sorry for your loss. As for foods I'm in the soft purée stage, I have 2-3 protein shakes a day, Incan eat eat beaters with cheese, grits, cream of rice. I recently made turkey salad in my food processor it was so good! I feel in love with Dannon light and fit Greek vanilla yogurt. I have had decaf tea and coffee. I say practice to eat slow and chew thoroughly, and once surgery is finished sip and walk, my first two weeks I kept water bottles in every room. I was afraid of getting dehydrated. I can manage 50-64oz a water. ALWAYS remember we are all different, and our tastes and needs vary. All the best to you. Karen

I've had skim milk and was so surprised how the sleeve liked it; 8oz of skim is 8g of Protein. I tried a home made turkey salad, used my mini chopper to prepare it, sleeve. Approved. The sleeve likes grits too! Not so much the sting cheese. Wonton Soup is approved. Enjoy your new discoveries. Keep up the great work.

When I went to my post-op visit I discussed with my doctor the matter of my lower right incision, the largest one. They dais because that is where they removed the stomach it would hurt more. I have discovered that since all the swelling is down the extra tummy flab is pulling amid makes all of my incisions hurt a bit. I'm wearing a compression garment or ab binder to stop the pulling. It helps a lot.
