When I first started jogging I was SO out of shape that my body got really really sore afterwards and I felt like my jonts were on fire, which made it harder and harder to push myself to do it. Now what I've been trying for the past few weeks is swimming until I reach a certain weight and can handle out-of-water exercise better. Just an idea if jumping straight into running doesn't seem like the best idea for you. But I hope I can get to where you guys are where you look forward to jogging!!

How The Hell Do You Drink Isopure?
RainbowBrite replied to Carrie's Journey's topic in Food and Nutrition
Isopure is DISGUSTING! I bought one, thinking I could stomach it, but it was so gross I got less than half of it down. Blah.I even tried dumping a crystal light packet into it to sweeten it up and give it a better taste, but it didn't mix at all, so now there's little clumps of crystal light chillin at the bottom of the unmoved glass in my fridge. My boyfriend and I have a bet going on to see who get's sick of looking at it first and throws it away! LOL! Shakes are my best friend now! -
Heyy! I'm new to the site, so forgive me if I'm repeating a topic or something, I'm still trying to figure this all out. But could someone give me a typical average day of what they eat? I'm almost 4 weeks out of surgery, and I've only lost 20 pounds. And I think that's because I'm not eating the way I should be. I take my Vitamins and usually I start the morning with a protien shake. I get down as much of that as I can, but then I'm SO full for the rest of the day that I can't really eat anything else until about 2:00 ish. Then this is where I get confused. I never know the proper amount to eat (or what's the healthiest options) so I can still get in a dinner, but not over load myself. I should also mention that I'm a college student-therefore poor. The limited options at my local grocery store aren't very health conscious- and finding sugar free options and things like that on a budget are a lot more difficult than I would've expected. So basically what I'm asking is for someone, who knows what it's like, to help me set up a good meal plan to ensure that I lose. Anything would help!

Hiiya everyone. Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I had my surgery the day before my 22nd birthday, on June 28th. So it's been almost 4 weeks now. I'm feeling alright about it. It's hard adjusting to such small portions, and the carb withdrawl almost killed me the first 2 weeks, but I'm happy. I've only lost 20 pounds though. Is that normal? My doctor says "everyone loses at their own pace" which I understand, but I just am so anxious and excited and want to lose it all fast. Is anyone else going through that? Anyway, I'm super glad I found this site. It seems really heplful and supportive. I only wish I knew about this place before my surgery
