Haha....I mean kids

Hi, I'm scheduled for Sept. 11th! I started my liquid diet on August 14 and I'm so proud that I haven't cheated at all. Only 6 more days and I'm getting nervous. I have a 9 month old and 3 year old. Anyone else with lids?

My pre-op diet is full liquids for 28 days and I'm expected to lose 20 pounds. I'm allowed 2 protein shakes, 3 dairy servings, 3 NSA fudgesicles, and 2 servings of juice per day (plus sf Popsicles). I'm on day 20 and it's been rough at times, but I have to do this.

Thanks for the great info! I'll be going to Thailand over Thanksgiving and I was so worried! I'll be about 10 weeks out from surgery (Sept. 11th) when I visit. It's really rice and noodle oriented, but they also have great seafood and other protein items like satays too. Another worry I have is insulting family by not eating what is offered. Almost all my husband's family lives there and we have to make the rounds to see them. This inevitably means food and drink being offered at every stop! At least I don't think it will be hard to resist them, just don't want to offend! We usually go every year, so I better have a plan. Any advice is welcome : )

September 11th in San Diego!

Wow, I have to start my pre-op diet on August 14th! That seems so much longer than most! Oh well, I guess if I can't follow a liquid diet for 4 weeks I probably shouldn't be having this surgery : )

Hi kmerton, my surgery date is September 11th! My pre-op diet is liquid with some dairy allowed (light yogurt, lf cottage cheese). I have to be on the liquid diet for almost 4 weeks and start on August 14th. How about you?
