I was banded July 2007. In the beginning things were great and I was doing everything by the book. After about 6 months or so I started having a lot of issues. Food would get stuck, I threw up a lot and often times I couldn't even get water down. I went in to the clinic to have an unfill where they told me it was probably allergies and everything was fine. I rolled through with the punches so to speak for quite sometime. Long story short I went through many ups downs and unfills and never saw the doctor just the techs. Finally, after a few years of this I got fed up and changed to Dr. Kim. After a throwing up episode where I threw up blood Dr. Kim discovered I had H-Pylori which was causing the majority of my throwing up issues. I have been doing much better but took the recommeonendation to do revision surgery. I am nervous, scared and excited all rolled up into one and 7/23/12 is my big day!!
