P.s I've tried muscle milk and I hate it.

My surgery was Thursday aug 2nd so 4 days ago and I have been only taking in liquids. I'm. Wanting some thing else though. I have canned chicken breast meat, mash potatoes, and some mac&cheese I can puree. Any one know when this will be o.k?

I'm here at the hospital waiting for. Some blood work. Today it is. I will be getting sleeved at 9:30 this morning. So ready. Ill update when I come out.

So I have been on my protein shake diet for 7 days now, I have lost 13.8lbs so far. Tomarrow is clear liquids only because it is the day before my surgery. I know I can't have any shakes so what do you recomend besides water, chicken broth, and sugar free jello (that's not red)? My surgery is at 6:30 a.m thurday aug 2nd and my nurves have kicked in. When I think about it I feel sick to my tummy.

My. Dr told me because it looks like blood. It could be mistaken for Bleeding.

You can do it. Its very had the first 3 days but does get easier. Do your best and remember what you are doing it for. You will lose weight even just on that diet. Don't get discouraged. Its all worth it in the end. My surgery is Thursday so today is my last day on that diet but tomarrow is clear liquids only because its the day before my surgery. Good luck and best wishes.

What exactly is the leak test? What do you have to do, and what does it taste like? My surgery is Thursday and I'm trying to be prepaired.

So I'm trying to make I don't forget anything I may need at the hospital since I live 2 hours away and I don't want any company its not like if I forget something I can run get it. I'm not sure if I'm forgetting anything important or not so every body help me out. Maybe my list will help you too. O.k I have tooth paste/tooth Brush, pillow and snuggie, panties/socks x2, 1 change of clothes for the ride home, p.j pants/robe for walking the halls, also slippers, deo, hair brush, shampoo and conditioner if you are like me you will want to shower, chap sticks for the dry lips after surgery, my meds just incase they need them, cell phone charger, and gas x strips. Heard they are much needed after the surgery. Please let me know if I'm missing anything or if I'm over board. Lol thanks sleeve friends.

Gosh I don't want to think about mine getting that big. And her birthday being aug 6th. Do u think u will be up to a birthday party? Lol mines the 10th and I know I won't be doing anything. This is my last week at work before I'm off for my surgery...again! Lol I'm gonna be praying for u. U go before I do but I'm right after u. We only have 10 days left. I can't wait to start losing. That's a good idea about the shakes though. Last time I mixed them with water and 0% milk. I got some soy milk this. I love it. Plus it has 6 more grams of protein. I have told everybody about us finding each other. Still think its the koolest thing ever. I know today is day 2 of ur shakes and I hope ur doing o.k with the hunger. Ill start mine again wed. Thay told me nothing but protein shakes and water. I had vanilla and choc but I hated the vanilla. I was in hell and just to think I gotta do that again cuz of there mess up makes me sick. So do u have any kids? I have 2 tavarius will be 4 in oct and tramain will be 2 in dec. They grow so fast. Oh by the way my name is melissa. Awww man so you have to do them 10 days again. Dang. How did u do with it last time? The fasting part? They told me nothing at all to eat only protein shake and water. I did for 12 days. I lost 12 lbs but have gained it back. Well most of it. How much did u lose?

Yea well I had ask them to replace my shake mix cuz it was so high and she told me she would ask him about it and let me know but she never called me again so I just went and got it myself. They said I only have to do 7 days of protein shakes this time is that what they told u? I'm gonna start them wed. Not looking forward to it at all. I live in Fayetteville T.N so its a 2 hr drive to lebanon for me. I wasted a lot of gas going back and forth for pre op and stuff to. Speaking of which have they called you for your pre op over the phone this time yet? They said they would call so I didn't have to go way back up there again but they havnt yet?

Me eighter girl, I was already off work for my fmla and I had to go back to work and redo all my paper work again. That's crazy how they did us. So I be there surgery right after u. That's amazing. What's the odds of there only being 3 of us that day with that dr and we find each other. Maybe we can walk the halls or some thing together after surgery. Lol hope ur surgey as wellas the rest of ours is great. How if u don't mind me asking, how much do u weigh and what is ur goal weight? I'm 298 and I want to be 150.

I'm having my surgery Aug 2nd and I'm trying to have every thing ready before hand for what I will need after my surgery. I have every thing done but getting the vitamins I'm gonna need. Can every one tell me what vitamins I'm gonna need and if there's 1 vitamin I can take instead of a bunch? I'm already on 4 pills and really don't want to take many more. Please help.

I was with a group of 3 of us and we were schedualed for june 28th, he called the day before the surgery and said we had to be reschedualed. They finally got a date of aug 2nd and he said he said he's doing us 3 that day. I'm the 2nd surgery so which one are u? We may meet after all. Soooo excited.

Omg justmehappycamper were u post to have surgery june 28th and the had to reschbedual u for aug 2nd? I'm with dr mark kent to for the 2nd lol how funny.

So many questions come to mind when I Think about life after my surgery. Atleast once a day some one ask me a question about when I will be able to do "this" after my surgery. So here's my question for today. When will I be able to have intercourse again after my surgery, and I need to worry about the staples in my stomach coming out?

That to me would be so worth it. Most people only stay one night in the hospital and if they only need half down then u just need 200 dollars. Can't beat that.

Getting so excited as the time gets closer. I often find my self looking for some thing else I can do to get prepaired. Today I think I will go through my closet and dig out some of my smaller clothes (at this size a 16 is smaller clothes) lol. I think when I can start to fit in some of those clothes in the back of my closet, then ill be doing good. Can't wait to see some results.

I am having my surgery Aug 2nd and I'm not worried about anything but the no drinking 30 mins before a meal, with a meal, and 30 mins after a meal. I'm one who really needs some thing to wash my food down with and I'm afraid I won't be able to eat with out some thing to drink. Does any one else have this problem and anyone who might take a sip of even just water with there food and if so are you hungry quicker? Please help.
