instead of milk, has anyone else tried mixing it with Almond Milk or Soy Milk? I like the Almond Milk, not too heavy feeling in the shakes.

Thank you for sharing. It helps to know that other people went through this and it turned out great. I'm in the Pre-op stage, I've been on protein drinks and one meal of lean proten & veggies for a week now. I've lost the weight that the Doc wanted me to. Just waiting for the insurance to approve all the paperwork that we've sent in. I have a tentative surgery date of 27 Aug. I've been exercising more and staying far away from carbs although I crave them daily!

I know what you mean milkD, At times, I think I should just try harder and exercise more and focus on eating less on my own. But I've tried that before and failed repeatedly. I have to remember that this is a tool that I need to lose the weight and get healthier. Thank you for showing me that I'm not the only one who has these doubts. It makes me feel better. I hope your surgery goes well.

Relax, your home will turn out great and your friend will be so tired from jet lag that she will probably go right to bed and you can finish up any last minute picks then.

Thank you for sharing, I just spoke to my surgeon today, first meeting. I've been thinking about having this done for many years. I can't believe I'm finally taking the necessary steps to go forward. I'll be looking forward to your posts and praying for you too.
