Probably. If I'm not mistaking I think I woke up with one on while in recovery. Ask your doctor .

I was in quite of bit of pain when I woke up in recovery and was immediately given pain meds. The next day and a half while in hospital I didn't need meds.....very sore but not painful. I walked as often as I could in hospital and focused on getting liquids down. Having a csection before was almost worse for me......good luck! You'll be fine....

I too was given one at hospital and have worn it ever since vsg on July 30th. Great support especially when I cough or sneeze....

Yea for you! I go for my post op on Thursday and am hopeful that I get put on puréed foods.....

I was able to bring home little portion cups they served me in while at hospital. I pour shake in each cup and sip , sip, sip.

Sleeved 7/30/12 as well. Dr.prescribed Prevacid daily for 1st month. Dr. Recommended i Focusi on getting 100 cc's of protein shakes, mixture with water every hour. I'm also sipping on homemade chicken broth that's been strained. Sipping away at water or decaf tea constantly. Sometimes I feel like I have a trapped burp but I've found that walking around house helps tremendously. Good luck!

As for getting water down I've know learned to take little sips. That's actually been the hardest for me because I was so used to drinking lots of water all day long. Now I'm sipping and sipping ang sipping.

What an accomplishment! So proud of you...

Sleeved on 7/30 and am taking my time . I'm balancing taking walks around house and outside with resting. Staying on top of protein intake and water is my focus. Still sore but getting stronger everyday!

I everyone......just got home today from my sleeve surgery on Monday July 30. Everything went so smoothly and I couldn't be happier! Only had to have pain meds while in recovery. Of course I'm super sore but never have been in pain. To me, having a c-section was somewhat worse. Wearing the band they gave me around my abdomen area has been very helpful. So far, so good! Wonder how other "July 30ers" are doing.....

And away we go....literally!!!!

Getting sleeved Monday July 30th in Chico CA...can hardly wait! Have a huge support group with family and friends who are cheering me on. Bestie from TX is flying in to help out. She and my brother both had RNY and will be at hospital and home. My workout buddy of 2years treated me to a lovely pedicure....feel so blessed. Great mojo as I get ready for my new chapter!
