Just wondering how many calories everyone is now consuming and what everyone is eating???? I am taking in about 900-1000 calories a day and eating just about anything except pasta and some bread products. Still losing weight and working out at least 3 days a week. -
My husband and I go to the movies a lot and the snacks there are NOT healthy at all. Sometimes I will treat myself to some popcorn but am looking for other ideas that I can bring with me. Let me know your suggestions, thanks.

Down 50 lbs, do cardio and strength training at least 3-4 times a week but my inner arms and inner thighs are so flabby. Any ideas how to tighten them up a bit?

went shopping today at Kohls, started out in the women's section as I am used to doing but when I tried things on they were way too big. Had to hit the regular size section, amazing b/c I don't remember the last time I could do that. Its crazy how much more they have in regular sizes. Feels great! -

six weeks post op, when to introduce bread type foods?
Sky61777 posted a topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
I have been told no pasta or rice until 4-6 months post op. However, when can I introduce crackers, bread? What was everyone else eating at six weeks post op? -
I feel so hungry at night. I have tried ice pops, fudgesicles, pudding but it only helps a little. Any ideas for someone with a sweet tooth that will satisfy me and fill me up? Saw a cheesecake recipe I am going to try but more suggestions would be helpful. Thanks. BTW I am only four weeks post op

3/5 will be one month since my surgery. I am down 21 pounds, weight loss has stalled this past week. I am between soft foods and regular foods. Nothing has bothered me. Have been able to eat dinner with my family and go out to eat too (there are a lot of left overs in the fridge). Only eating between 1/4 and 1/2 cup of food at a time. I am not overly tired and am getting in all of my protein. Still difficult getting all liquids in. I still have difficulty telling when I am full. I do feel hungry and then I know I need to eat. Get very hungry at night. Start the gym on Monday. -
I was losing a pound a day then nothing. Been stuck at the same number all week. Getting frustrated and discouraged. What am I doing wrong?

BTW, two great apps that I found: My fitness pal: records all of your meals, all nutritional information, weight. Bodylog: keep track of all your measurements, take a picture everytime you record and compare

I am doing well, so happy to be eating some regular foods like tuna, oatmeal, even had shrimp last night. Excited to start the gym the end of the week. I got new sneakers, downloaded songs and am waiting for my armband to come in. I have lost 20 pounds since the surgery and am off all of my diabetes meds. Having trouble getting all the vitamins/supplements and Water in during the day. Ok meeting Protein needs. Havent had any issues eating anything yet, scars are healing well. I wont say it is all of the staff that is rude but the woman that specifically works for Dr. Trivedi is most of the time. The process was long due to having to wait for appointments. They kept telling me they would arrange the pulmonology clearance for me, then when it was time to have it done and I called for an appointment it was several weeks out and they couldnt take me sooner. Then the procedure was put off b/c they had told me that once I meet with the doctor that surgery is scheduled like a week or two later. But when I met with Dr. t he was booking 6-8 weeks out. Well its done now, but it was a long journey. I did not like Dr. Lemanski, I live in Catskill.

Officially down 20 lbs today -
I am two weeks post op and was feeling pretty good until I started taking my vitamins/supplements. Started taking calcium, b12, folic acid and a multivitamin. The multi I was on for a few days and was ok. I think it has to be the folic acid or b-12. I feel like I have a lump in my throat and feel nauseated. I cant even take my other vitamins bc of the way I feel. Anyone else go through this?

OK, I am just kidding. However, I am dying for everything I cant have. All the food commercials on TV and food my family is eating is making my mouth water, its driving me cccrazzzyy! On full liquids right now at 1 week post op, hoping to move onto pureed foods soon. Any good suggestions for pureed foods?

I am one week post op. Dr. Trivedi is a good doctor, I have nothing negative to say about him. The office staff however lacks a bit, you need to keep on top of them to get things done. I do not feel I got a lot of guidance on pre and post op diets but this website has been wonderful.
