This is too funny! I just achieved this milestone this week and was sooo excited (I made it a status update lol)! I thought I was the only one who noticed or fudged the numbers by as much as I did on my license. I was 5 ft 2 1/2 in and weighed 218 lbs but put that I was 165 lbs. Now I am 2 lbs below that fudged number woohoo. Hopefully I'm going to be lying in the opposite way soon and be way under that weight. When I hit goal one of my rewards will be new DL stats and a new pic (otherwise I'm stuck with this pic for 4 1/2 more years because I just got this license renewed this year!) -

Oh and another documentary on Netflix that was majorly eye opening is "Hungry for Change". I thoroughly enjoyed it and learned sooo much! -

Breaking the 163 lb mark was a big deal because it cleared 3 goals all at once! #1 I am no longer considered obese #2 Its officially the lowest I've been in 10 years #3 I offically weigh less than my driver's license weight ( YES... I lied by THAT much!)

I had an IUD in. The hubby and I weren't looking to have more kids but got pregnant 1 month after surgery!! I was scared and worried to be pregnant so soon after surgery. It ended up that 4 ultrasounds confirmed that the baby had no heartbeat and stopped developing at 6 weeks and even though I was 10 weeks along. The doc gave me medicine to induce my miscarriage at 10 1/2 weeks. Be careful ladies this surgery can make you uber fertile. Now I am getting my tubes blocked with Essure and he is getting snipped so we don't have to go through anything so hard again. -

This is funny because yesterday when I was walking to the mailbox I noticed I didn't hear the long swishing sounds of my thighs rubbing together anymore. The sounds are still there but they have become short quick little swishes because they don't touch as long or as hard. I was overjoyed at the little victory I felt over it. I believe my thighs will always touch some just the way I am built, even when I was 115 lbs I didn't have the gap of sunshine shining between my thighs like some women do lol

Im 4 1/2 months out from surgery and have lost 52 lbs. My boobs seem to fit in my bras the same but feel a little different to the touch. They used to feel stuffed full now they feel a bit looser (just like my a**). Im happy to have not lost cup size only band sizes so far but even if I do its ok. Im a shorty with an hourglass shape so hopefully everything continues to go down proportionately. But either way I look better than I did before surgery

I too was expecting hair loss but shocked by the volume!! Thankfully my hair is long dark and thick so it isn't showing YET. The funny thing is that my hair getting thinner doesn't bother me (small price to pay for going from a size 18 to a 10/12 in 4 months ha ha), its just annoying,gross, and messy! I have hair tumbleweeds blowing around my house the day after I swept! I clean out my brush, take a shower, lose clumps and clumps of hair in the shower, get out and brush it and my brush is almost FULL! Then I blow dry and when I am done my brush is overfulling and I am standing in a pile of hair that is the equivalent of what's in my brush. It truly is insane! I have started wearing a hair net when I'm cooking and my hubby still finds a long hair or 2 in almost everything...gross! He also says he finds them wrapped around his "parts" all the time (hee hee). I don't mind the loss I just mind the annoyance of it lol Okay...my rant is complete! Its still soooo totally worth it! I would have shaved my head bald if someone told me I could look this good in just 4 months -
Milestone met...this girl is ringing in the new year officially 50 lbs lighter as of today! Woo hoo!! Happy new year to all! Here's to the best and healthiest 2013!!!

Yep...I was surprised. I looked at the email and it came on Dec 15th. He said he is working with Dr. Illan now. He said this doc has been assisting Dr. Kelly for 5 years and was in on my surgery and has done 500 of them on his own. He also said that this other doc would do my hubby's surgery for $4000. While I love the price and Omar...and I'm sure Dr. Illan is great...I just don't think I could send my hubby to anyone but Dr. Kelly. I had such an easy surgery and recovery, not to mention results, and I want the same great experience for my husband. Plus 500 surgeries doesn't sound like a lot and I want someone who has seen it all and will knows what to do if God forbid something bad happens. I have complete confidence in Dr. Kelly and you will be in great hands! If I HAD to complain about anything it might be that pre/post op diets were a little unorganized. I got a different one than my sleeve buddy that was sleeved the day after me and mine said to stay on Clear liquids for 3 weeks! I emailed them and asked them if the were custom diets and they apologized and said they promise they weren't trying to starve me to death lol. If thats all I have to complain about I'm doing pretty darn good Good luck on everything! The sleeve will be the best decision you ever made

Omar sent me an email a few weeks ago saying he is not with Dr. Kelly anymore. He said he was with another doctor... I can't remember the name off hand but I could look if anyone wants to know. He emailed me to ask if maybe when my hubby has surgery next year if he would rather use the new doc.

Officially entering the 160s was the best early Christmas present I could ever receive. When my hubby asked me what I wanted for Christmas this year I truly couldnt think of anything. My sleeve is my greatest gift! ...maybe just a shopping spree to clothe this improved bod of mine

Well, the 4th ultrasound confirmed the fetus stopped developing 4 weeks ago. The doctor gave me meds to induce my miscarriage. I am currently miserable feeling like I am going thru labor with the flu! My body just wasnt ready to have a baby so soon after surgery and while I am still sad I am also a bit relieved b/c it wasnt a choice I made. My IUD is still missing so once i survive the next few days finding that is the next step. Then the hubby is getting snipped...no more IUDs for this g...

Well...I had an ultrasound. My IUD is nowhere to be found (could be a problem). It looks like I had a miscarriage a few weeks ago. The baby stopped developing and there was no heartbeat or fetal movement. OB appointment today to find out what to do now. I didnt want to get pregnant especially right after surgery but its still a little sad when your baby doesn't make it. I just have to trust God.

40 lbs down, 3 months out, 2 months PREGO! I went thru hell to get the Mirena IUD 2 years ago (after a bad miscarriage with a regular IUD) even though my insurance didnt cover it b/c it had a lower rate of pregnancy than having your tubes tied...but who's the most fertile person on the planet...THIS GIRL. Appt w/ the OB next week for an U/S to find out if its a viable pregnancy. If it is... we will go with it. If its not...the hubby is getting snipped!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I stepped on the scale this morning and saw 179 (had to weigh myself 4 times)!! I haven't been in the 170s in 5 years! Now Im dying for my hubby to wake the heck up so i can share this awesomeness...
