mybaby71803 posted a topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I was sleeved on 5-23-12 and had no complications...untill about a month ago. I was nauseas, vomiting several times a day, dehydrated, you name it. Turned out to be gallstones so the next day I had my gallbladder taken out which lederhosen to believe my days of suffering were FINALLY over..nope. I am on 3 different types of anti nausea meds and I am still nauseas but the committing has just about stopped. I have had to take a LOA from school because I'm so weak. I have almost no appetite at all so I am not eating much and my dr says I am the 1st sleeve pt of his with these problems...seine please tell me you have had this happen and it did get better.i sit home all day and wonder if this is what I'm in for for the rest of my life and it's depressing the crap out of me. Toake matters worse my husband was sent to Afghanistan for 4 months with his job so it's juste and my 9 yr old son at home. Anyone have any advice for me? I would greatly appreciate it!!!! -

Worried About Link Between Morning Sickness And Post Vsg Nausea
mybaby71803 replied to Laura1234's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had the sleeve done 3-23-12...I have been sick/nausea/vomiting ever since, and I had terrible morning sickness..could be a coincidence but who knows?! All I know is right now I feel like I have ruined my life:-( and to boot I have a 9 year old son to take care of...HELP! -
Yes, of course I'm taking the Zofran, what worries me is what happens when I run out:-( and no, they did not check for a leak but I will absolutely bring it up if this continues, the sad thing is I would SO rather be in pain, as to have nausea...thanks for the well wishes!

I had my surgery on May 23, I had no complications and I had been doing ok...till about 2 weeks ago, I can't hold anything down, I'm as nauseas as all get out and I can't take much mOre of it:-( I went to my dr and they told me that it's not normal to feel this way, then gave me some Zofran...what am I supposed to do, take Zofran the rest of my life? I have lost 35 lbs so far but I would rather be fat than have to feel like this another second...anyone out there have this problem? What can I do???
