I feel great. The first couple of days i had a hard time with keeping up with the 64 ounce. I lost 10 pounds since surgery which was last week Tuesday. Other then that i feel really good. Thanks for asking

It's not the insurance company, it's your doctor. They want the procedure to be safer by shrinking your liver. My doctor told me the same thing. I knew i would be put on a two week liquid diet before surgery so i started on my own. I drank slim fast twice a day and something light for dinner. I lost 5 pounds the first week. But my doctor had me drink 5 shakes a day, and sugar free jello. I was told to lose 20 pounds within the two weeks but only lost 13. They just want to see your that trying. I know a couple of people who had the gastric bypass due to them having reflux problem. And they said it went away. Some people actually do have reflux issues after having the sleeve. Just my experience.

Surgery went well and i actually felt like i didn't have any procedure done that's how good i felt. I actually compiled on leaving because i was so nervous. I am home now and walking around. I met a couple of girls there and we called each other sleeve sisters. We walked to each other rooms and talked and laughed like old friends. We we're only there for two days but the nurses new if they couldn't find one of us in the room to check one of the other two rooms. We talked about our past, shared pictues, experiences and goals. Best experience.

I am doing great just a little sore. The at times i question did i really have surgery because the pain isn't anything i thought. From 1-10 its a 2 only because of the soreness. I'm walking and sipping. When is your surgery im good?

I didn't go crazy i had the 5 mighty wings from McDonald the first week. What i shouldn't have done was ate steak day before surgery. I didn't eat a whole steak but did take a couple of bits. I lost 13 pounds within the two weeks. Surgery was a success and now im eating sugar free jello, crystal light and water. Yum

It did shrunk alot. Just had my upper g.i. test to make sure there was no leak and everything looks good. I saw a small tummy on the screen

Hi sleevenIT, I love my surgeon. No gas pain or shoulder pain a little soreness in my new tummy. I walked yesterday and this morning. Kind of feel like i didn't have major surgery. No complications. They were two other ladies that had surgery yesterday by my doctor and we walk to each other room and talked about our new journey. You would of thought we were old friends meeting up for a drink. Surgery was awesome.
