after 6 weeks .... almost everything... just in very very very tiny portions and in a very very long time (chewing). Spicy food is ok.... depends on how bad your acid reflux is ... I respond quite well to spicy food ... but have heard from others who just cant take it. Welcome to our little island Wishing you a good one

    Spicy Food!

Yes, but in small portions. Another thing to note is that people who love to eat spicy food (including myself) tend to have a habit of drinking Water while eating. After my sleeve I've found that I feel very bloated if I drink and eat at the same time. Hence I tend to eat food that is less spicy. Also.... after my sleeve I've suddenly occasion gastric reflux... which doesnt really go well when I've had spicy food.
  8. Nice ~! Yeah.. I know it's kinda hard to say when the best time to change clothes is .... also depends on the clothes and fashion we wear ... kinda like saying "if you're into baggy jeans... you'll never have to change". lol... But was hoping to hear from other's experience when they felt their most significant weight loss occur as well. Were the innital 10 pounds after the surgery the most you've lost ... because ... well ... we could hardly eat anything.... or did the weight loss peak at say ... 5 months and begin to stabilise ?

Sleeve is treating me good, except for the occasional slime that comes up and abit of acid reflux. I've just started going to the gym this week and I feel great! Kinda getting instant gratification, as I'm trying to build more bulk on my shoulders to prevent getting into an "A" shape, and just 3 days at the gym my shoulders are less droopy and I'm standing up straight. Gone are the days that I feel sick and tired, unmotivated to go to work and just crappy in general. I also found it much easier to breathe and no longer use the cpap. I'm a new man and I Love life~!

What Are You Guying Eating At 2 Months

Almost 2 months and realised that I can eat almost anything. Noticed that I had a pre-op habit of drinking Water while eating, and also noticed that I am unable to eat and drink at the same time post-op. I just get heartburn and heaps of acid reflux (not sure if their the same thing) if I were to eat and drink together. Actually I also get acid reflux even when I'm not eating... but that's a separate issue all together. So ... as long as I remind myself not to drink while I eat .... almost anything goes down well.... just in smaller portions. Also learnt to put my utensils down while chewing, cos it takes longer to chew now... and hold the utensils makes me wanna put more food in my mouth. Once I'm done, I take small sips of water. Water after the meal still produces the bloated feeling, but it's a habit I'm trying to break or at least cut down.

    South East Asia

Hi CantBelieve_IdidIit! Dont really know where to start, but I was always a big kid. Used to play rugby and was a school swimmer (high school) was always big and muscular, till I went to the Army. I had an operation on both my feet, due to injury, thus unable to walk for almost 8 mths in 2003. Since den I've just been eating and eating and eating. No exercise.... loads of alcohol and serious binge eating especially at night after 11pm. I've put on heaps of weight and decided to have a VST this year because I felt I couldnt keep to dieting and exercise. And the VST went well on the 1st May 2012. Since then I've lost alot of weight and am continuing to lose even more. I've noticed my shoulders getting smaller... kinda like an "A" body shape, and decided to head to the gym last night, hoping to bulk up my shoulders before even more weight loss occurs.

    Quick Question About Tattoos

I think it'd be better to get the tattoo after the huge weight loss post surgery. Tattoos are an artistic expression on the human body. I feel what distincts an Artist from an ordinary Inker is the way the tattoo conforms to the curvature of the body. I had my tattoo done long time ago when I was at my ideal weight and honeslty quite strong and muscular, the dragon tatto ran along smoothly with my deltoid and biceps with the head lashing out on my right peck. As I got older and really much fatter, i noticed the tattoo became somewhat smaller and now there's this whole blank space of skin triceps. still wondering how it'll look like once i reach my ideal weight... All said... I'd advise you to ink urself post-op so that the tattoo can be fitted to you at your best.

    Cigars After Gastric Sleeve Surgery?

No worries.... I'm 6 weeks after op and I love my cigars ~! IMO: smoking seems to be alright (although doctors say that it can cause stomach ulcers), the problem is drinking... realised I can no longer chug, but sip.... So a nice Cohiba Robusto with a nice glass of whiskey from the low lands of Scotland.... what can I say... Life couldnt be better
