smartypants

I'm 57 years old and have been overweight on and off for close to 50 years. I have lost and gained approximately 300 lbs in my lifetime. I take 2 medications for high blood pressure, two medications for hypercholestemia and elevated triglycerides. I recently found out I am pre-diabetic. I decided it was time to get back my good health and life.

I'm also tired of shopping in the fat ladies shop or online. lol

I saw Dr. Goyal for the first time in April. in the following months I have had quite a few medical tests to assure that I'm healthy enough for the surgery.

Finally, my surgery has been scheduled for July 30, 2012. I'm no stranger to surgeries but I'm plenty nervous about this one!
