Oh so much to choose from! I love their already cooked and cleaned frozen shrimp as well as their tuna in curry sauce. I have also been scarfing down various flavors of goat cheese too. I also snack on the raw cashew pieces and buy Think Thin bars there.

Same thing happens to me after too many sugar-free Ice Breaker Sours. It starts with the rumbling intestines and then....oye! -

FEBRUARY SLEEVERS 2013....how you doing after you've been Sleeved
erp replied to DivaNurse's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Just a quick update. Finally broke another zero and am in the 150s- 20 lbs to go! Starting to squeeze into size 8 but 10s are still comfy. Here's a pic from the weekend. The red dress is flowey but it still said "small" on the label! Who would have thought that the word small and I would ever be in the same sentence? How's everyone else doing? -
Best thing I have ever done. Pondering what to wear today because I have so many fabulous choices. Life is good. :-)

Weave or braids: What to do with hair for surgery?
erp replied to Disabledaccount's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I braided mine right before surgery. It helped keep my routine simple. -
I find eating a serving of high fiber cereal helps keep me regular. I stir All Bran into my Greek yogurt. I also use fiber gummies as well.

Dulcolax was my friend in the beginning. Now I eat All Bran Buds mixed into my yogurt to keep things moving.

What BMI do most fitness-enthusiast sleevers aspire to?

That's normal. The sleeve does not eliminate hunger forever in most people. I felt hunger when I was 4 weeks out and now every pound lost is hard work. Use this time well to get the weight off while you can still eat so little. Good luck.

Ducolax was a life saver for me for the first month and laxatives scare me. Once I was allowed regular food, I started eating All Bran Buds cereal with my Greek yogurt. When I eat it daily, I have few if any problems. Also the fake sweetener in those sugar-free Ice Breakers sours get me going. A couple of those get my intestines churning. You may discover foods that do that have that effect on you as you reintroduce foods.

I don't have your insurance, so I don't know the answer to your question. There is an insurance thread on here where you might get a response.

What do you hate about being overweight?
erp replied to Disabledaccount's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
#1 for me was feeling like a bystander as life passed me by. I hated not doing the things that I wanted to do because I was embarrassed or unable to because of my size. -

You are not alone. I have some re-emerging bulimia issues too. It's a battle and it is hard to get back in control but we can do it. PM me if you are okay talking about it. -Erica -
