  1. I think that's a terrible idea. Diet pills are unregulated unless they are Rx. You just had surgery several weeks ago- please give your body time to heal and the process of vsg time to work. Stop reading "I lost 100 lbs in 4 months!" Those posts are not typical. Typical losers do not shout as loud but eventually we get to goal. You will get to goal as long as you follow your doctor's plan. I didn't lose 100 lbs in 4 months but I did get to goal by staying focused and working my sleeve- focusing on hydrating and eating protein. I also exercise regularly and now wear a size 4 or 6.
  2. Yes, you can have anything you like as long as you eat your protein first, then veggies, and then carbs.

    I think it is a great idea. I had a suit (missy 16) that I never lost enough to get into so I was thrilled when it finally fit. I bought a Betsy Johnson dress last summer (size 8). It was motivating to keep trying it on. Eventually, I wore it on my birthday and now it is a bit too big!

  7. My DH misses the boobs other than that I don't think he cares. I dislike the loose skin more than he does.
  8. What are your meals like now? I think 5:2 has merit as well as low carb. I feel like I could be successful with one of those options vs full liquids.

    I have been wondering about body composition too- extra skin and bone density. I know I don't have a lot of body fat left yet I weigh more than I would like. People are shocked when I tell them my weight. Everyone says I look smaller (even people who didn't know me overweight) I just don't always feel it. Grab an oar sister, we are on the body dysmorphic boat together!

  19. I'm in maintenance so I weigh everyday to stay vigilant. Very worried about regain.
  20. I got to goal- 140 lbs 13 months out. Working on my stretch goal but frankly, I'm not working that hard to get there. No heartburn unless I eat spicy foods.

    Firm skin

    Yes. I am doubtful that it can tighten the large areas of loose skin many of us have. I usually think of it for tightening "turkey neck". Consults are usually free, let us know what you find out.

    I struggle with the exact same issue. I keep wanting to lose just a little more. I know intellectually that I am smaller but I can't see it. People refer to me as small but all I see are the rolls on my stomach and jiggly outer thighs. Oh, and if someone can tell me how to stop comparing myself to other women-read skinnier women, that would be great.
