  1. My macros at 3 yrs out: I count calories and use a macros calculator to set my fitness pal goal. Trying to get off the last 5 lbs of holiday binging. I lift 3-4 days a week.
  2. Not totally done for the day but here's a normal(?) day for me:
  3. I'm a lazy cook as well. Cottage cheese and Greek yogurt are standards for me. Salads topped with pre cooked meats work- my local supermarket sells 1.75 oz grilled chicken skewers, 3 oz baked salmon fillets, etc in the deli dept. I pack protein bars in my purse along with jerky and or prepackaged nuts. You will have to put some deliberate effort in for a couple of weeks but if you, these can become habits again. Please go get your labs done and best of luck.
  4. Hope I can join in. CW 141, GW 137
  5. @@Stevehud had one yesterday for the first time in a week and felt it do a number in my intestines. That recipe change will forever end my relationship with Quest.
  6. Your journey dietarily was like mine, on soft solids at about 4 weeks out and no diarrhea. In fact I was still taking stool softeners at that point. It does sound more like a virus than something behavioral but you can get dumping syndrome so check the amount of sugar from your day's eating to see if you had more than usual. Same thing with lactose, some develop intolerance post op.
  7. 3 years out and only get the no bubbles or lightly carbonated ones a couple times a year. Was over a year out before I even tried one again. Carbonation was no bueno early out, a few sips and feeling way too full, so why test the limits? If caffeine is what you are going for and don't drink coffee, try a pre-workout supplement (e.g. Amino Energy). No bubbles, low calorie and lots of flavors to choose from.

    No alcohol ever?!

^^^ Yes, this exactly. I waited until 9 months out to make sure I was fully healed. Now I indulge only occasionally as I like fitting into my clothes and it's not worth the bloating!
  9. Take them pre op. Most gummies are not adequate for sleevers. I took chewables for the first two years and can take pills or chewables now. My Nut recommends Bariatric Fusion.
  10. Long term is a good question and I don't know what the next 5 years will bring. I do know that I have never been at a weight this low in my entire adult life. I also have never maintained a significant weight loss this long my entire adult life. Three years out, hit goal at 13 months and been maintaining within a 5 lbs swing above or below ever since.

    IVF after Surgery

Not doing IVF yet but we are TTC and if it doesn't happen in the next few months, IVF is on the table. We waited the two years as recommended. It was important to me to be at my goal weight and as healthy as possible. Plenty of ladies on here don't wait and there are lots of "oopsie" pregnancies for people who are newly post op. I think that you need to talk with your doctor about why they recommend the two years. It's not without reason but knowing you want to conceive, you might get the go ahead sooner at 15 or 18 months post op.
  12. This early out, no need to push it. Give yourself time to heal and focus on staying hydrated (the shakes and water) the meal can come later.
  13. 142.5 1/25/16 141 2/1/16 Back to 142.5 damn Super Bowl. I think it's mostly water since I drank a beer and ate fried food last night so lots of salt.

    Transfer Addiction: Fashion

@@Jess ^^^ I'm trying to tell my husband the same thing!
  15. . No I haven't ! But I'm going to look into it right now! This month would be my first month where my periods are back to normal because before I was having them very often and for a long time at a time ! While a regular cycle makes tracking easier, the fact that you are having periods usually means that you are ovulating and thus fertility signs are present. Good luck and have fun trying!

    Transfer Addiction: Fashion

I became a shopaholic for awhile. I wasn't hungry and didn't want to eat from boredom at home so I would go out shopping all the time. Did that for two years. I would feel amazed when I would try something on and it would fit!! In the last six months, I've slowed down but need to probably take some of my clothes to consignment. I simply have too many. I haven't yet because they are pretty and I don't want to part with them but we moved into a new house with small closets- every fashionista's nightmare. Anyway, I have no regrets. I have a job and can afford what I bought. But mostly I have no regrets because I am worth it. We all lose our head from time to time and being on a first name basis with every sales associate in town, well, there could be worse things. PS one thing that helped- I stopped subscribing to InStyle.
  17. I haven't had that specific problem but I wasn't able to conceive until I started tracking using the Creighton model. Are you tracking?
  18. I am 42 and we are ttc. We conceived in Nov but miscarried at 8 weeks. Doctor not concerned at all. Just wants us to wait until after my next period to try again. It can happen. Get healthy, get to goal, and get it on. ????
  19. I use Terra's Whey is it organic and sweetened with stevia. I also use an unflavored, organic powder that I mix into foods. After surgery you will need to nix the apple juice and swap it with water as the carbs are too high in the macronutrients total that you listed. Ideally you will find a low carb powder and then add milk and/or water.
  20. Wasn't a fan of a friend who has a lap band declaring, "you've lost a TON of weight! How did you do it?" I was more pleased with a friend who is naturally slender asking me what Vitamins I take because I look so healthy. It was refreshing to receive a compliment that wasn't actually about the weight specifically.

    Do You Log Your Food?

I would like to see more focus on tracking macros and micros versus calories. I would also like to see sample meal plans based on different pre and post op stages with macro breakdowns. I would like all macro and micro settings to be customizable since we all have different nutrient needs and/or deficiencies. I would like the exercise entries to change your daily nutrient goal only if you select that versus by default. I would like the exercise entries to have more realistic caloric expenditure defaults or a metric where based on end users inputting their age, gender, height and weight in their profile that it estimates a reasonable caloric expenditure for the activity, e.g. I do not burn 350 calories walking the dog for 20 minutes at a leisurely pace. I could go on...????
  22. @@Brian, these are not symptoms related to sleeve surgery that I have ever read about. Please get seen by a doctor.
