    How Much You've Lost

Dont get discouraged...I read on anothe post that when it takes a while to lose weight that it is a good sign. Our bodies are rearranging things so you will see inches drop and less loose skin. I keep this in mind for myself too! I seem to be losing slowly as well but I am still losing...yay!!

My doctor actually recommended that I try eating eat at my last visit
  3. This explains why I am having so much acne. When does this stop?
  4. I teach fifth grade as well. I have a 20 minute break and I just try to snack during class. I generally will eat some turkey meat and string cheese and a yogurt. During my lunch break I will eat a few crackers and some chicken salad that I make with chicken breast. You will be fine. I am two months out as well but I really didn't have any energy problems. I taught summer school from 7:15 - 1:00 so it was a long day but I did well. I only took off a week.
  5. Congratulations...you look great!

When Did Y'all Start Back Driving?

Well I had my surgery on Monday, July 2nd and I am about to take a small drive to the pharmacy. I think I will be just fine if I do some old lady driving...LOL!
  8. Actually I am feeling great! The ride wasn't half as rough as what I had imagined in my head...
  9. Yes they are totally different. The plication does not remove part of the stomach. I think it only sutures it in order to make it smaller. You can google it and come up with lots of information. I was looking into it at one point. I mentioned it to my doctor and he dismissed the idea (can't really remember what he said)...I had the sleeve on Monday.
  10. Yep you are right. I will do just that!
  11. Well it's over...I had my surgery on July 2nd. It was not that bad...thank God! I had some bouts with nauseau but overall the pain and uncomfort has been bearable. I am more concerned with the after effects and how to deal with the questions on how I lost weight. I am not one to broadcast my business so this makes things a little uncomfortable for me...any suggestions???
  12. I had my surgery on Monday as well. I had some nauseau but it passed and I am able to keep the liquids down. I am following a suggestion that I read on another post where I squeeze the air out of my jaws before I swallow and it helps not to gulp down too much air. I hope and pray things get better!
  13. I am glad you are doing better! I pray you heal completely and enjoy the new you
  14. I am scheduled for july 2. I have to have a h. hernia repair as well. Does this significantly increase the recovery time and make for more pain? I am just curious as to what I should expect. Also, as for a grocery list...what will I need from the store to keep me full???
  15. I am scheduled for July 2nd and I am scared...I just keep thinking...it will be o.k. I have not told any family members...only my husband knows...he is very supportive and I love him for that! I don't want to worry my mother because she has soooo many health issues and anyone else really doesn't matter...LOL
