An enlarged liver could cause it. Them making a slip and injuring you inside with some of the tools could cause them to have to open you up to make repairs... though that is very rare.

I had kidney failure in early 2011. Was sleeved June of this year. No kidney related issues to speak of caused by the surgery. Everything is fine.

almost 6 months out and zero hair loss.

Everything was great at the hospital. No complaints at all.

WOW, glad ya got everything fixed and are doing OK now!

It's probably just mental hunger. You've been conditioned to eat eat eat for so long, and now your subconscious is like "HEY WHERES THE food ITS TIME TO EAT!" Did your Doc give you anything to take daily like Prilosec or another PPI? It could be acid in your stomach causing you to "feel hungry" even though youre not. But if I had to guess I'd say it was the mental thing. I still struggle at times 5 months out with the mental hunger. Just make sure you're getting as much fluids in as you can and everything will be just fine!

This risk of complications are very small. And hopefully you will have an experience similar to mine. I had absolutely zero pain after surgery. I was up and walking around a few hours afterwards and could have went home that night if they would have let me. Try not to worry too much! These people who will be taking care of you are pros and will do everything they can to make your experience as smooth and pain free as possible!

You should be fine just this once. Don't make a habit out of it though. Pulpy juices and fruit isn't good for us early on. especially this early. Try not to worry too much. If you have any major pains or anything maybe call your surgeon's number and they'll contact them and let them know what's going on and he/she will get back to you. Otherwise try not to fret.
