September/october Sleevers ?
AllSmiles replied to AllSmiles's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My 6 months is also up in september and i have the same estimated time for surgery. my insurance only takes a week to a week and a half to decide, but im guessing i will have to submit it more than once. Im really excited to hear all of your progress. I also feel that i am gainin weight on this 6 month diet, but i had an acl surgery and gained 5 lbs and am in the process of getting it off, not happy about it. As far as the medifast. I never heard about the 'not hungry stage of ketosis.' I didn't feel hungry after awhile though. the only time i was actually hungry was having to watch people eat. if i got out of the room or kept myself busy it wasn't too bad. This forum keeps me sticking to my plans and keeps my hopeful. I love to hear success stories and nsvs! -

Ive been hearing that mecico is actually not a bad place to have.surgery like all the stereotypes. I hope it works out for you. Hope this im not prying how much is ur self pay in mexico. The self pay option here (if my insurance denies me) i think is 12,500 with 150$/ month payments. -

Ok so im worried about this whole hair loss thing. I dont know what Id do if I lost my hair call me vain. Id freak out. My nut says if you get your protein in I should be fine. Anybody have any expierence with this, advice, comments?
-
Well it looks like theres no way around it lol. I have black hair and have very light complection as well. I guess the only way to find out how bad it is, is to wait and see. Any other products out there? So far I like the sound of biosil and I guess the fusion one wouldnt be bad if it was only for a few months
-
I might try that biosil let me know how it works for you.
-
I hope it isnt noticable. I wear alot of ponytails in the heat and I already lose hair. how long after does it grow back. When did u notice it stopped?

Great idea! My name is Kendra. I am 24 on July 29th. I'm from Nebraska and enjoy camping, hiking, swimming, sports and any outdoor activity. I also am a frolfer. (Frisbee/ disc golf) My surgery will hopefully be in october. I have two brothers. I'm the middle child. I own my own home business with travel called World Ventures. I love wv! I am also a cna and provide in home care to two of the best clients ive had. I absolutley love my job but if money weren't an object I would become a meteorologist with a minor in photography, so I could chase tornadoes and take pictures of incredible storms and skies. It gives me a rush and I'm a bit of a thrill seeker. I'm currently pursuing my RN at MPCC. I currently have a partial torn acl and torn miniscus that I will have surgery for on the 27th from playing basketball. I hate that my weight inhibites my activities. I cant wait to be thin and be able to run after a soccer/basket/volley ball again!!! Ive been heavy all my life but I try not to let it stop me from doing anything everyone else can do!
-
It cut me off lol I meant crossing my fingers
-
Mine will be end of september or (most) likely early october after insurance goes thru (crossin fi.g

Yeay I cant wait. I can only imagine how excited/nervous you guys are. Crazy mixed feelings.

AllSmiles replied to mizzliz83's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Wow I had always heard that mj slows the development of the brain especially during the critical growth times during puberty but nothing else. Sad day yes but if its for your health well givin it up may not be a bad thing. Not sure how well quittin is gonna go.
