I have the same symptoms except I'm very tight. Last night I propped up a bunch of pillows and slept with my head and chest higher than the rest of my body. It's uncomfortable but it did stop the reflux.

Stef, I had similar problems. After my first fill I was still able to eat everything in sight. I was concerned but just went with it. During my second fill the Doctor noticed that I lost 3 cc's, and thought maybe this was something wrong with the port. At my third fill again I lost saline. They felt I may have a leak in my port and scheduled my for a quick out patient procedure to change my port. When the doctor opened me up he couldn't find any leaks in the port and decided to replace the whole band. Since then I definetly feel the difference. I don't feel hungry all time, but I still have to be careful of old habits that can easily get past my band, such as cake, muffins, etc... I'm losing about 5 lbs a week since the "fix". Stick with it.

Katherine & Alexandra, Thanks for the advice, I was feeling guilty that things were going so well. I was full open and ate with no remorse. I had my first adjustment recently and still am apprehensive. CHHS:)

Hi all, How do you know if your band has slipped?

I had my surgery on April 17, I was on the liquid diet, started with the mushy food, quickly noticed I had no problems eating. I started eating more & more with no problems. I have yet to have a fill, but I'm wondering is this normal? I've been eating just like I was before the surgery.

396power, What is a VG band ? & does your fill make it easy or just no choice but to be on the liquids? CHHS

No symtoms, just scared because I haven't had my first fill, and I'm eating like normal. I seem to be pushing my luck. Everybody says stick to the program, but If that was so easy I would have never got the band. Thanks CHHS
