Eileen, just wanted to warn you on about the 3rd of 4th day, you're gonna start asking yourself what have I done! I started having the most horrible head hunger, I thought of food I wanted to eat that I hadn't eaten in years. Every commercial was about food, my every thought was about food. Then I reminded myself that this was temporary and with the exception of a few things I would be able to have most of those things again, just in moderation. IT PASSES Second week of liquids, I stood over the sink, chewed and spit, LOL. Also, I ate hard candy, and sucked on it until it was disolved. You're doing great. Beanie, about that Harley, tell your DH he has to take the motorcycle class before he can get one. My DH and two sons have been riding motorcycles for ever, so it comes second nature to them. I have to plan my every move, I'm not a diehard biker. In case yall missed my other thread, I'm just back from the dentist, had a wisdom tooth and the tooth beside it pulled. I'm sitting here with an ice pack on my jaw. She had to cut the wisdom tooth out, so now I have stitches to deal with too. But on the good side, I showed up and gotter done. I'm such a wussss. Oh yeah, they told me I could have jello to eat, NOT me, give me ice cream, I'm healing, LOL.

One day I can do soft scrambled eggs with cheese or a fluffy cheese omelet, then the next time I'll slime after the first bite. I think we have irritable band syndrome.

Almost 5 mnths out & still learning

Brocolli, cooked or raw always comes back, unless it's brocolli and cheese Soup, then it has to be like itsy pieces of brocolli. I know so well about being overfilled, it's absolutely miserable. You did the right thing getting a bit taken out. You may still be a little swollen from all the pb episodes. -
I'm thinking of ordering an Omega necklace, 6mm, 14k online. Anyone ever order gold online before? If it's not 14k I'll know in about an hour, I'll have a rash around my neck, LOL. Maybe I should try QVC and see if they've got one. I'm looking for the reversible white gold on one side and yellow on the other.

Thanks ladies, it's gotta be done or I'll end up with a tooth ache from hell, so here I go. I'm probably gonna take a half a valium before I leave. I'll let the dentist know about the valium and the band. Have a great day.

Your post above gave me goose bumps, with so much going on with Curtis, you still have the strength to know you've got a good man, how awesome is that!!!
-
Congratulations on becoming a bandster. Personally, I think you've made a wonderful decision. As for the Diet Coke, have you seen that stuff clean the crud off batteries? Your health is far more important than a Diet Coke or some saggy skin. Keep us informed and let us know how you're doing.

Gas, you'd be surprised at how long that gas will last. You'll think it's all gone then there it is again. I had the same pains too.

Awesome, some people are so darn talented. What a cutie too.

Margo, you sound like my secretary, OMG, she takes zoloft and the day after she runs out we're looking for a poltigeist (sp). My DH takes the happy pill Effexor, I'd like to double it up on him. He has a problem with restless sleeping, I haven't told him it's a side affect of his happy pills, he's quit taking them, but no weight gain, same size he was when we got married 36 years ago.

Where have you BEEN all my life?

Problem is..when people see overweight people, they only see the weight, POUNDS, nothing further. They don't assume we as a group have the same thoughts, cares, concerns, needs, and problems they do. What can I say, they're idiots. -
With the breast reduction, the nipple is left on a fine pedestal of skin, a cut is made below the breasts, then the skin is pulled down taught then is stitched like a half moon under from left to right on each breast. Then a small cut is made in the lower middle and the nipple is brought up to be placed and sutured in place. With a good surgeon, the scars around the nipple are none, the rest of the scars fade with time.

Just checking in to see how the little guy is today?
-
I had that done in 1982, reduction and quite a lift, the brown eyes are so up so high, he allowed for future drooping, LOL. Now since I've gained and lost so much over the last 20 years, I'd just need the skin tightened, don't really need a lift, just a little perk added. Oh yeah, a surgery well worth having, nipples pointing south does not make you feel sexy and it was not that painful, now the mini tummy tuck, that was painful. I'm worred about all the weight I've lost in my upper legs. Skin is really starting to wrinkle there, and nothing worse than untanned wrinkled skin. Hummmm, a tanning bed would be nice, LOL.

Eileen, my DH use to always say, oh, your week to rest, huh. So now you have two reasons to take it easy. It may have been all in my head, but Tums helped my shoulder pain. I didn't have the tummy pain, but the left shoulder made up for it. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
-
Yuk, I had that naseau feeling too, they gave me a shot for that. The pain meds were causing the sick feeling. Take it easy and welcome again.

I found that out, the day AFTER I registered and ordered $200 worth of stuff and confirmed my order. The next day I got the email with the coupon, as a matter of fact, I think I've gotten special offers every day, LOL. I got my jeans and they feel so good on, only problem is after about 3 hours they stretch out too much and get baggy. Oh well, better to loose than too tight.
-
Thanks for the update, I check every day.

Just imagine swallowing a golf ball, because that's the tight feeling you get if you way over do it. That has only happened to me a couple of times in the beginning, I learned really quick not to do that anymore. With me stuck is the feeling that something will not go down, therefore, it's coming back. Usually it's covered in digestive juice-slime and just kinda slides out of your mouth like a lougy, (well ya wanted to know). It's not like vomit, at least in my case, it's just something my band didn't like and it's not allowing it to go down. A good example would be an black olive, will cause massive pb/slime for me. Bread, not even gonna try it, just the thought gives me a golf ball feeling. chicken nuggets or tenders, french fries, not band friendly for me either, but everyone's different, believe me, your new friend the band will let you know. My mom can't do tomatoes, but I can, but then she can do potatoes, go figure, LOL. I'm allergic to make up, hair products, and any type of metal that's not 14k gold, so imagine my fear of rejection, but 10 months later, all is well, that's not to say that the worry of rejection is not always in the back of my mind. I wish you the best.

Oh my gawd I think she just broke her neck. She's not moving now. LMAO.
-
I don't miss it one little bit, there is one good reason to be older, LOL.
-
That's so special. My old friend's daughter got married this summer and I'm kicking my own butt for not going and surprising her myself. Have fun!
-
Woohoo, welcome to bandland. Best of luck on your new journey.
-
I want to keep it a secret, but don't know what to tell people when they ask

How about you've changed your eating habits and are now a pickier eater. -
What timing, I was just listening to the Comedy channel and this guy was talking about how his girlfriend had been cranky. He said he opened the medicine cabinet and one of those tampons popped out, hit him in the eye and bounced into the toilet. He started yelling look at the size the tampon all swelled up, he told his gfriend, no wonder you're cranky, look at the size of that thing, you need to get a smaller size, that thing is huge.
